Weiman Complete Cook Top Cleaning Kit - Cook Top Cleaner and Polish 2 oz, Scrubbing Pad, Cleaning Tool, Cook Top Razor Scraper

I was REALLY impressed by this kit. When I moved into my house, the kitchen had been "professionally cleaned." There was some black residue on the flat glass cook top (mostly around the burner rings) that didn't budge after some vigorous scrubbing (even with Magic Eraser pads). Between my own attempts and the pro job prior, I just figured it was permanent burn damage. I ran across this starter kit and thought I would give it a try in order to maintain the surface moving forward. Much to my surprise, I discovered that there's a flawless glass cooktop under that nasty grime! It seriously looks BRAND NEW now, like it's never been used. Note, I didn't get it all of the grime off at once. It took 3 sessions lasting approximately 10-15 each. (This stuff has probably been on there for years.) I found that for this type of deep "de-griming" job, its best to scrub it up with the exfoliant cream and the red pad (get it damp first), let it sit for a few minutes, and then go back and use the scrapper blade on the stubborn grime. BTW: The scrapper blade has NOT scratched the surface of my cooktop up. I don't know how this possible, considering how much I used it, just reporting the truth. I should also include that I'm not particularly talented at cleaning. Eg: I'm not that friend you call over to help you clean your oven. Usually, my own work pales in comparison to that of a professional cleaning service. The fact that I had such great results with this stuff says a lot about the effectiveness of the product. Now I use this stuff about once a week. I usually only need to bust out the scraper blade when something spills and gets burned into the surface. Oh yeah, I also love the Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner/Polish and Daily Granite Cleaner. Between the 3, I can get my kitchen looking really nice in a short period of time.

I am not sure if this is the same stuff that came in a small trial package when the range was new. But its not the same without the pad holder and razor blade. I had let the stuff bake on and build up over a couple years of abuse. I thought my range was going out on one burner I used the most but after I did some googling...lol I found that letting the surface build-up causes the burner to cycle on and off. The kit includes a bottle of cleaner, pad holder, scrub pad and razor blade scraper. By using the kit as instructed and having to go over it three times I was able to remove all the baked on gunk. I could tell when I cooked again that the burner was working a lot better. Even heat control and even cycling of temp was like it was new again. Since I bought extra pads clean-up now is a quick and easy chore along with cleaning the bottom of the cookware. everyone with a glass flat top range should have this kit as a basic cleaning kit. All you will need is buy the replacements as they run out. Top looks like new and I can't believe its not scratched. I think I was lucky to have cleaned it just in time before it got permanently damaged.

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I don't think I realized how much my glasstop needed to be cleaned until after I used this kit. Does a terrific job! The glass surface was shiny and free of the burned on food on the burners. Easy to understand and to use....I think my only complaints would be that I'd have liked to have had an extra razorblade for the money, and that the plastic part holding the razor seems a little flimsy, like it might not hold up to the pressure needed to use it, long term. The last is a bit worrisome, as this is an important part of the cleaning process. I've had the kit a few months and have used it three times with good results. I do cook pretty frequently, so the glasstop does get a lot of spills that sometimes get burned on, so that while I've only had this a few months, I've used it the three times already. Other than the two complaints noted above, it's a product that works well and that so far I've been pleased with.

It did a great job removing built up junk and film on the stovetop. It was kind of a mess to clean up but all-in-all, I would recommend it. One caveat: The cleaning has to be repeated every week or so but that isn't the product's fault. It's having a black stove top that's the problem.

I know it's a bit strange to get excited about something like this, but I have to say I am!! This is a GREAT pack at an even greater price (not sure if prices fluctuate, I got it for around 5 bucks). Considering it consists of all the different components, that is an absolutely smashing price and it works really well, too!! Ever since I've moved here (from Germany), I've been looking for a good cook top scraper - I got about three differents kinds and they all s****ed (sorry, but there's not other way of saying it!!). They were all flimsy and totally underperformed. I don't know why it's so hard to find a good one here, as they are a dime a dozen back home (and really good quality!!), but this one is the best one I've found so far. I also love the sponge-thingy and the fact that you can attach it to the handle thingy - it's great for cook tops, but I also use it for large pans, baking sheets and generally anything that has a larger surface - SO practical!!! Actually, I was just thinking, I'd better get myself a second kit, just in case these become unavailable at some point!!! Highly recommended.

In the past I only had the scrubber pads and the spray that I could get locally. This thing comes with the scrubbing pad handle and a scrapper....and they are awesome!! With the scrubbing pad handle, I can clean the top more efficiently than I was doing with my had, I dunno it seems like it is applying the force better to scrub the stuff off. The scrapper is awesome, around our one eye that is used the most there was what almost appeared as 'bubble's and I thought I ruined the stove top. I took the scrapper to it, carefully, and it was just heavily cooked on stuff. Stove looks new again now!! I did have blades laying around the house form other tools, but the handle in this kit helps me maintain the good angle. The polish is a nice heavy polish that you should use only when you want a nice deep clean and shine. It takes more work and gets a little messy when cleaning it up. For every day cleaning, stick with the spray.

We purchased a brand new Thermador induction cooktop that is silver mirrored. It is very easy to clean but after one meal it appeared discolored with a reddish hue. We were beside ourselves after spending so much money on a cooktop. It typically wiped clean but this discoloration would not wipe clean. There didn't appear to be any dirt or residue on the cooktop it just appeared discolored. After receiving this product, I applied the cleaner and used the scouring tool to clean the cooktop. It immediately came clean without any effort or strength. It also came with a razor tool for caked on debris but I didn't need that and haven't used that as of yet. I love this cleaner! Lifesaver for sure!

While this product is not meant for any real caked on mess (Use the heavy duty cream for that). It does a decent job for a quick cleanup and shine, especially for cleaning the dust and pet hair that floats in the air and lands on the stove. That being said, this product has a strong odor which smells like sulfur to me. I have only purchased one bottle but the spray pump is actually too strong for my liking in that a single pump of spray covers more area than I would like it to.

Amazing product—highly recommended for electric stoves! I recently moved into a new house and there is an electric stove and was really disappointed at first. When I placed utensils on it, the zinc coating transferred onto the surface, and normal cleaning sprays couldn’t remove it. There were several stubborn marks that I thought would never come off. After using this product, I was honestly shocked and pleasantly surprised by the results. It removed all the marks effortlessly and made my stove look brand new again. Absolutely worth it!

The product works as advertised. I was skeptical at first, but the price was worth it. Our cooktop is so shiny and clean, that I could see my reflection on it - not kidding, not an exaggeration. I've never seen our cooktop more clean than before until now. Great product!

This is an amazing item! At first I was hesitant but I tried it and never regret it. My stove is clean and shiny. All oil residue has dissappeared. No bad odor. Just need to be careful when scrapping, especially when the oil hasn't been cleaned for a long time. But overall it is satisfying and easy to use and safe.
