An excellent read for anyone interested in alternate or natural methods
I learnt so much from this book that I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars.There is excellent information on how herbs can help improve your health. You will learn about how the herbs and spices you already have in your kitchen (like turmeric, rosemary, oregano and cinnamon) as well as many more you have never heard of and yet which are well established in terms of their properties in China, Russia or elsewhere (ie Holy basil, Eleuthero, Rhodiola, Astragalus, ashwaghanda etc).The book explains what adaptogens are and there is also very well set out information about the adrenal glands, thyroid and hormones and how inbalances with glands and hormones cause many health problems from stress, tiredness, fevers to sexual issues.It is quite amazing how the natural herbs and plant supplements can alleviate problems and illnesses from: bronchitis; low immune; fatigue; stress; poor sleep; digestive problems etc.Boost your immune system, improve your level of antioxidants and discovery the wonderful world of herbs.

Just a too brief overview
Too brief and too general. No depth or back up from any evidence sources. Would only recommend if you have zero knowledge about what a herb is.

I would recommend this book to everyone. Well written honest not confusing no jargon. Great add to home first aid kit .
