Haven't gone through much of the book yet, but the content is good, however I still can't justify owning a second copy at this price and with the text only being in grayscale.

Excellent, mind-expanding book about all things C++ 20. I'm eagerly awaiting his C++ 23 book. He is definitely my favourite C++ writer.

Code print not in colour
I already own the ebook version of this, but I wanted a hardcover version - but imagine my surprise that for £80 it would not be printed in colour. One of the main reasons I ordered it was so that reading the code snippets in colour and in physical book form would be an improvement over my e-ink ebook readers, or without having to use my iPad. Haven't gone through much of the book yet, but the content is good, however I still can't justify owning a second copy at this price and with the text only being in grayscale.

C++20 is indeed a revolution. And it is a revolution expected and going in the right and expected direction. Really great. And a note about the author. In my opinion, Nicolai Josuttis is the best author of C++ books. I've been reading his books for a long time. From the Standard Library book (second edition) to C++ Move Semantic and C++17. I love the way the author describes the subject. And I understand :-)

You don't HAVE to use all the latest features. If you want to write basic C code, or do a few objects... you can - but you don't have too. You don't have to understand the 'spaceship' operator to realize that C++ will let you do anything you can imagine in programming, and do it as fast as it can be done. The beauty of C++ is the power to do anything, as well or as poorly as you can.

Good book with many examples

die Bsp. sind halt nicht immer getestet bzw. teilweise schlampig Zum Beispiel: Seite 432: Die Schleife erzeugt nur char's im Interval von 'a' bis 'y' (nicht bis 'z' - wie der Code-Kommentar behauptet)... Hat hier zwar nix mit dem eigentlichen Thema (concurrency) zu tun, aber solche Schlampigkeiten reduzieren das Vertrauen, dass es bei den C++20 Infos genauer zugeht...
