Maid In Manhattan [DVD] [2003]

An absolute delight of a film made the better by Jennifer Lopez. I now know that I am in love with her. She is a maid at at a posh hotel in New York (Manhattan) who gets mistaken for a socialite whilst trying on one of her dresses one day in her room. However republican prospective senator sees her (Ralph Fiennes) and a situation starts between them until a class divide appears and eventually she is forced to face the truth about her actions. A really excruciating performance by the late Bob Hoskins as a butler at the hotel does add a little crap to the film but the scenes where her son appears (she is a single mum) are great what a scene-stealer he is doing a project funnily enough about Tricky Dicky Nixon for schoolAll in all a very good film and I am still in love. Jennifer look my way!!!

Bought this for my granddaughter as I've always liked this film. She has watched it 4 times already so could be ordering another soon. The film is brilliant as there is no bad language or violence init. Ideal for all the family.

I expected this to be in Italian but it wasn't, only subtitles. That was a disappointment. The reason for ordering the film was to practice my Italian. And as much as I admire Ralph Fiennes work, this film was very predictable in its content and very boring.

Good film , bit cheesy but if ya like a good old chick flick 👍

I like it because I watched it years ago and I was searching all over to watch it and I looked on Netflix and Disney plus and discovery plus and still could not find it and I finally found it on prime to rent for £1.49 and to buy for £4.99 but i could only rent but it was an awesome movie

Its not worth any stars. This DVD was unwatchable .I bought this for my daughter and she was very upset that it froze every 2 min . The DVD was obviously damaged to begin with . I have reported this twice . Don't buy from this company . DVD not fit for purpose and therefore should not have been sold under the sale of goods act .
