RiesenDark Chocolate Covered Chewy Toffee, Rich & Indulgent Chewy Caramel in Dark Chocolate, 135 g (Pack of 15)

I love these toffees for when I fancy something sweet; they are just enough to satisfy the craving but strong enough that I only eat 1 at a time. I was struggling to find them in shops locally so now I have a load of bags on subscribe and save and they should last me a good while.

I have loved these for decades. It's like an affordable way to get that deep dark chocolate hit without the truffle prices. Two stages of pleasure with the chocolate coating first and the slow melting cocoa rich toffee inside. Enough to satisfy in just one bite.

Yum yum yum. Rich, chocolaty, delicious, sweet & don’t melt until they enter your mouth. I put freeze mine purely so they last longer otherwise I can snaffle a bag in record time.

I came across these dark chocolate caramels a few years back, but then had the misfortune for the shop that sold them to discontinue the line, 'oh wow was me'. I used to keep a packet in the pocket of my 'Parka' and every time I wore it I would have the delight of finding them there and chewing on two of them. The original seller replaced the 'Riesen' with 'Jameson's milk chocolate caramels', which are very nice but a little on the sweet side for my taste. A few weeks ago I brushed down my 'Parka' for the coming winter months and found the packet of 'Jameson's' in the pocket, on chewing upon the first chocolate caramel it instantly hit me, that this could not go on, I do not have a sweet tooth and 'Jameson's' were to be side lined. I took to the internet and on 'Googling', 'Riesen', there they were on 'Amazon', "Riesen Dark Chocolate Chewy Toffee 135 g (Pack of 15)" with free super save delivery. I have just received the delivery and still having some 'Jameson's' I tried one of theirs first and then a Riesen's; though the 'Jameson's' was nice (but still too sweet for my liking) the 'Riesen' matched my memory perfectly and my mouth is still watering.

If you like dark chocolate they’re ok. Flavour not to my taste.

If you like plain chocolate and toffee these sweets are a real treat and great value for money.

I tried to hide these from my family but unfortunately they've discovered my hiding place so I'll be need to be buying more earlier than I expected. They're nice fat toffees with a good covering of dark chocolate; not the type of chocolate you bite off separately, like rolos, and less sweet so they feel healthier (they're probably not, but who cares).
