Pretty nice, but one catch
Works great but there is no buttons - just touch so it’s super sensitive and EVERYTIME you hit it - a really annoying lady vocalizes what setting you clicked.

Great
This star projector looks and works great. It's nice and clear, like looking at the night sky. We have really tall ceilings that are slanted. When the projector is on, it looks really beautiful on the right setting. We liked it since much, we purchased another for my son's room. He really loves his too. I do recommend f I r anyone who has kids or just want to add some ambient lighting. I will buy again.

Malfunctioning
The media could not be loaded. I bought this a year ago. I used this once. The time I used it, I charged it for a full day, used it plugged in and it was fine (Cannot be used without being plugged in) for about 20 minutes (played about 5 songs). Then the next day, it started to power off after being on for about 5 seconds. My regret is that I didn’t try to turn this on sooner so I could’ve returned this right away. Not only is it malfunctioning, but the placement of the wire is annoying because it sticks out and will not lay on a flat surface unless you either lay it down upside down or have the device hang off of something.I do not recommend this product at all and it’s such a shame because the starry night that they have is so beautiful and not too childlike. Sound quality was okay and the remote was finicky.

It's ok...
If you're buying this for a young kid it's fine. I like how much it can dim. More so then the pricier one I have. It's nice that it has a moon. That's why I bought it. My kiddo loves the moon. It works fine and the remote is easy. You can only have white on with 1 other color. So no blue, green and white. It's either blue and white, red and white or green and white. There's no full blend of all colors. It's very basic as far as these sort of things go. The moon is really just a cookie cutter shape. The stars are green. You can turn the moon, stars and wave on independently. Ya know... it's fine. But because I use this item just as much as the kids do, if not more, it's just not worth keeping for 25$. I was hoping at the very least I could just add it to the existing unit and make things even better but I think there are better options out there for 10$ more when on sale. The unit I have already wasn't much more then this one and though it's missing some features I'd like to see, it does more with the colors. Specifically the blending of 3 or more colors. That's really what gives these things an Aurora feel.Again, if this is for a young kid who's juat happy to have it on, see the moon, have some stars... enjoy some basic colors swirling around, this is worth it for a low cost unit. But if this is for adults who want to play with features and really get a lot of enjoyment out of it I'd splurge a little on a higher priced unit. The profile of the casing is nice. It's slim in comparison to many others and can be tilted a few different ways but there isn't the same freedom you get with an egg style and the light itself on the unit is extremely bright even at its dimmest. I had to stick it behind the TV to see if that helped a little.I plan to return and invest in a different one before I even let my kiddo see that moon because she will ask for it every night otherwise. Also, it's purely preference but most of these units come with green stars. I'm not sure why. I've read that some people find the blue ones to be fuzzy? But aesthetically, I don't care much for the green. I think blue or white would be a much more calming color for that. Just something to consider in your search.Easy to use. Remote works fine. User friendly. Slim design. Limited capabilites. Very bright. Not for us.
