PREMIUM JUTE ROPE 15M PPJ01

Having suffered for fr too long with horrible plastic clothes lines that pegs slide about on, and are difficult to take down because of the kinks and twist they develop I determined to get a "proper" rope line. Pure cotton rope is expensive - and many described as "pure cotton" , though seemingly cheaper, are in fact plastic multi-core cables with a woven cotton sleeve.These jute ropes are the real thing. They are organic, so will rot if left up on a permanent basis - but since I actually *want* to put my washing line away each time I have finished with it - and since they are so much easier to take down - they are ideal. It remains to be seen just how durable they are - but since you get 5 x 15m lengths for £10 that is hardly a worry. Their texture ensures that pegs do not slide along the lineOne tip - it is a good idea to tie a single knot close to each end as soon as you unwrap each rope - they are twisted, not woven so would otherwise quickly fray.

excellent product for repairing and renewing cats scratching posts. Each length of rope is perfect for recovering a standard scratching post and it is a relatively easy process.Remove all the old rope and brush clean the post, soak the new rope, preferably using a glue gun secure the end of the new rope to the post (if you don't have this tying it securely to the pole is fine) then wind tightly around the post, finishing in the same manner at the top.Cats absolutely their recovered posts and looks like brand new.

I order this rope frequently, and use it for Shibari. However, I do not use it straight from the packet - in its raw form, the rope is very hairy, and has quite a lot of rough bits in it.After treating it with fire, wax and oil, it is very good rope for doing floorwork. Probably would not recommend for suspensions, due to its structural inconsistency.Holds Dylon dye quite well, if you're looking to colour your rope.

Good valueI have refurbished my cats play station...she had shredded all the scratching posts.... much better than the chairs though!This cord has been excellent for this and she is really enjoying getting her claws into this rope

The Q/A section and general description of this product are all wrong.This is a decent quality jute STRING, but not a rope. It's definitely not 4mm strong/thick, it's just under 2.5mm which makes it effectively a string, while at 4mm as in the answered question it really would be a thin rope. It's annoying that the seller didn't bother to actually check this when someone asked.It's therefore useless for the purpose I intended it for, I'm only not sending it back because the postage would be like half the cost of the product (and I basically can't be bothered at this cost) so I might try and find some other use for it.

Really good deal for what you pay. I soaked it before I used it and have had no problems at all.
