alride Twin car 12v Air horn set VERY LOUD upgrade or replacement

I bought these to replace the feeble squeaky horns on my Yamaha XJR1300SP and I'm pleased to report that these produce a most satisfyingly loud 'honk'. At the moment I've wired them in as a direct replacement (i.e. without providing a relay) as they'll only be used for very short blasts and therefore shouldn't melt any of the wiring due to the high current draw. Fitted in a few minutes, each horn sits quite nicely on either side of the tank (just above the oil cooler) - and look rather nice too. I'm very pleased with them.

Very low priced and effective. I found them not quite weather resistant enough for a motorcycle, but they are good when fitted in a car engine compartment.
