I can recommend this mug.Plus points : very lightweight, comfortable to hold, keeps drinks hot with the lid on, well made, nice colour ( yellow ), can drink tea from mug in bed without drink spilling, easy to drink from using the spout, lid is a firm attachment so won’t easily come off ( the carer will have to prize the lid off to fill and clean the mug ), appealing design that does not stand out as being for the elderly ( looks more like a ‘thermos mug’ than an aid for the elderly ) so won’t offend those who are still averse to switching to these sorts of devices.Other comments:The mug does not hold the equivalent of a normal ‘mug’ sized coffee or tea cup. Roughly 1/2 a normal mug. Equivalent to a tea cup really. But for the elderly that is probably an advantage, i.e. they don’t want too large a mug.

used for someone confined to bed - saved usual spillage from coffee mug. Only drawback is that it doesn't hold a great deal

This is a good cup, although expensive. Unfortunately, for us, it only holds a cup full, not a mug full of liquid. Very good for those with mobility issues. It is sturdy. A more able bodied person is needed to put the lid on and off.

Brought it for my elderly mum. It keeps hot drinks warm for longer than a normal cup.

Good product. A little bit hard to open, but necessary to not drip.

Has proved great for Dad (Parkinson’s & Alzheimers). The large handle allows him to get a good grip, the insulation keeps the drink warm as it takes him longer to drink (& it can’t start off too hot) On good days he uses it without the lid & on not so good days the lid is handy

Loved these cups, they hold a small amount of liquid but are lightweight and easy to hold. They do stain easily inside with tea/coffee but otherwise amazing.

Did not work as described and cost $24 to return when I paid much less. Not a good product and not worth paying the return fee.

Para una persona en el hospital con movilidad reducida está muy bien. Podía tomarse las sopas y purés sin tener que incorporarse, lo único tener cuidado al volcarlo que puede salir mucho, pero con cuidado no se derrama.

I had great hopes for this item as my bedridden mother struggles to have a drink in bed. The lid fits really well and is very safe. When I bought the cup I thought that it was important to retain heat for hot drinks. However, I now think this is less important, as I am disappointed about how little the cup holds. It is difficult to get Mum to drink enough, and this cup holds about half as much as a normal one. One really good thing though is the size of the handle which makes it really easy for her to use.

Commandé pour une personne âgée alitée, ce gobelet se révèle très pratique. Léger, hermétique, et gardant bien la température des liquides, il remplit parfaitement sa fonction. L'intérieur conique permet à un malade de boire seul, sans renverser la tête et sans risque de renverser. Je recommande cet article.

Lo compré para mi padre muy mayor que pasa la mayor parte del día tumbado, y no tiene ya mucho control para sujetar cosas , pero sólo lo ha usado tres veces como mucho debido a que sale demasiada agua de golpe y se moja todo.
