Contains tutorials and performance in solo, 3 piece and vocal duo. Tutorials are logical and easy to follow from basic to advanced. Only 4 stars as the booklet is garbage written by a non-musician so you need to learn directly from the dvd.Also useful for non-guitarists to learn more about bossa nova and the great guitarists of the past from the tutorials and the performance footage is pleasant listening.

If you're interested in getting together your Bossa Nova guitar style this DVD is essential.Romero Lumbambo is himself one the masters of the style & analyses the past greats like Joao Gilberto, Luis Bonfa, Baden Powell & Toninho Horta.Clearly explained with an accompanying booklet featuring all the exercises written in traditional & guitar tablature.The DVD presumes an existing knowledge of Jazz/Bossa Nova chord voicings.I've been playing Bossa Nova for 20 years or more but I still found some interesting things here.
