This is More of a leaflet than a book but don’t let that stop you from purchasing it. The information is really good and personally feel this is something that any tortoise owner should have as a a good reference to any questions they have.

it was very helpful i have a baby tortoise and wasn't sure on how to keep him as it is dangerous to let him hybinate because he is to young, he is doing really well with the help of this book thanks yvonne nolan

I do not recommend this book. Half of the book is taken up with the story, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, why?? I ordered a book on tortoises. I would return it but it’s not worth the postage.

Informative booklet.....not really a book as such. Looks like it's been printed from home to be honest.A bit of a let down was expecting an actual book not what I received.

I ordered this book for my mum, there isn't much to it almost like a leaflet style book but the information has been useful in our research for my mum's new tort.

Excellent book special for anyone think of getting a Tortoise.

As expected

It is as if a child wrote this book. Single page on all the different species of the tortoises and then book skips directly to breeding procedures. Which, in its turn, also only takes only one page - because it so very simple? Author provides wrong and misleading information on care, mixes terms tortoise and "turtle", and on top of all that, - grainy cover with grainy letters and (dead?) sick-looking tortoise on the cover photo? It really looks to me as if it is a primary-school project.

This booklet only provides very superficial and basic information. I had to get other books on Tortoises to get all the information needed to be a responsible owner. It is not worth the money!!!!

This book is less than 20 pages of bad grammar and spelling and very basic text. Seems more like it was written by a middle schooler than a vet and this guy doesn't even put Dr. in front of his name or DVM after. I learned absolutely nothing from this book. A complete waste of my time and money. Save yours.

This is a very general guide of the care of tortoise's. Very slim and not a whole lot of pages but there is wisdom in it. Entertaining read for someone thinking about getting a tortoise
