Review: Great watch - Got this at the special price after been looking at similar watches for a while. Great purchase. The strap was a little tough to start off with and the clasp did dig into my wrist at first but both have not been a problem since wearing it regularly. Only difference between the picture and mine is I don't have the orange stitching on the strap and the orange writing on the face, which I think make it better asthetically Review: Good

Really elegant, perfect for both casual and wearing to work. Mix of Polished and Brushed steel really makes it look even more expensive than it is and is not captured well in the above pictures, the watch is much more impressive in person. substantial piece on my wrist and i'm a big guy. Strap is a bit finnicky and be careful not to scratch leather when adjusting it but once set fits well on the wrist. I like the orange detail and the strap seems like it can take some wear but will eventually need to be replaced so I do hope i find the same one with orange stiching in the future. A few weeks in the polished has light scratches but this happens with all polished watches. Only thing is that I couldn't figure out how to change the weekday but discovered if you rotate the dial counter clockwise when it is in the date position, this will move the weekday. rotating clockwise will change the date. So there are 3 positions you can move the dial to on the side, one position sets the time, one position sets the date Clock/Counter clockwise, and one is locked in (pushed all the way in.) Good price and seems to vary between 430$ - 500$.

This is a well made, good looking watch. It looks better in person than in the photos. It is solid and a good size (large, but not too big like the Visodate or many modern watches). The orange accents on the band and face give it some zip. Works as a formal watch with a suit or casual with jeans. You should be clear what this watch is and isn't. This is an old school, automatic watch, celebrating the art of quality watchmaking. In that respect it's comparable to watches costing 2-3 times as much. However, buyers should know that this means: - It is less accurate than a $25 quartz watch (or other Tissots that are quartz movement) - You have to adjust the date every month that doesn't have 31 days in it - If you don't wear it for 2-3 days, it'll stop running and you'll have to reset the time (and date) For me the fact that this watch is mechanical is a plus, but if you're looking for other features, you'll find them in cheaper/other watches.

This rating is in regards to order fulfillment and customer service. I did not receive the right item, so I cannot comment on my satisfaction with the watch. I ordered this expedited delivery and received a different model than pictured--textured strap with no orange details. I called Amazon customer service and was told that I had to talk to the seller (Jomashop) to resolve since Amazon only fulfilled the order and did not sell it directly. They could not replace it with the correct item unless I got a return label, sent it back, and reordered. Well, I wasn't going to take that risk again especially because I purchased this for a birthday gift the same week! So I called Jomashop, and they said they couldn't do anything because they only handled the warranty on the watch... they said Amazon was the seller. Was told I could purchase another watch with expedited shipping directly for them instead of on amazon. Bottom line, big run around with customer service. For an expensive item, it's worth it to deal with a company that cares about their customers and takes the time to get the order right and correct it on their dime if they mess up. Neither Amazon nor Jomashop handled the blunder with that level of service. I ended up ordered with Jomashop off Amazon simply because of the time crunch, but I would not order from Amazon or them again. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed the correct watch arrives on time.

I really liked this watch. Looks pretty good and bold. But the watch stopped next morning. I thought it may be I didn't wear long enough to get its energy stored. I wear it for more than 10 hour that day. But next morning I saw it again got stopped around 4 am. When I talked to Amazon watch support team, they did few troubleshooting and found the metal piece which moves and creates energy is not moving freely. Hence the watch is not able to gain and store much energy. I returned the item. I will not go for this kind of automatic watches. I would rather go for watch with battery.
