Premier Housewares Floor Standing Coat Stand, Mahogany Finish, 184 cm

I am very pleased with this item, contrary to all the other reviews I do not think it is of poor quality. What do these people want for £24, solid oak and fully assembled? It took me 20 minutes to assemble including unpacking the contents of the carton (I timed myself). The PICTURE instructions were very straight forward to anyone with any practicle knowhow and the assembly was very easy, (yes I did have to use a little persuasion to align the screws with the holes but it was minimal). The whole assembly is tight and stands solid on the floor. The overall effect is that it is of good quality and my wife and I are very pleased with the stand. I fully recommend this item (to anyone with a very basic knowledge of self assembling of furniture.

Bought as a present for my mother, she likes the way it can hold many coats including heavy ones and sits under the open staircase. The dark wood finish is a nice touch and looks great. It has a good weight to it.

Very impressed with the delivery of this item. I placed my order on a Wednesday night and the goods were delivered Saturday morning.. The product itself however, I am not overly impressed with.. It is darker in colour than the beech advertised, it is poorly finished.. like an earlier review, I found the screw holes to be misplaced and in some cases non-existent.. I finally managed to finish building it, with lots of fiddling and a few blisters.. looks good once finished, but I am very wary about hanging coats on it as it feels as if it would break.. Overall, is it worth the price paid for it? Yes, it is.. is it worth the nearly £50.00 the seller claims it should be? Definitely not..

This the second stand that we have bought. We like the design, BUT it does have a slight weakness where the two halves are screwed together. Too many heavy coats will endanger this weakness but can be offset if you distribute coats around sensibly. Not too many heavy coats all on the same side!

I ordered this coat stand on 14/08/2012 but it was not assembled until the beginning of September.I have used it to hang up 2 three quarter length jackets and a dog lead. This evening, 08/10/2012 I heard a loud crack and found my coat stand, coats and dog lead all on the floor. On inspection I noticed that the top vertical section of the coat stand, the one that supports the coat hooks, had a long split in it and will no longer support the hooks assembly. Obviously a product with such short durability and dramatic failure is not fit for purpose.I was lucky that the whole edifice did not tip in the opposite direction, otherwise it could have gone straight through a plate glass window.Premier Housewares have a quality control problem and it would be difficult to persuade me to buy their goods again. It also raises questions about the ability to buy with confidence from Amazon.

So: +not very expensive +looks nice in pictures or when you dont have something hanged on -takes time to assembly and the screws do not fit 100% which is unacceptable -it moves easily around and it is humiliating for visitors to see this in my house. -it falls down easily -very light, cheap and bad quality Conclusion: do not buy it, spend some more money and get a product that will last for years. I am crying for my money that i lost after buying this product.

I love it, it is light weight but sturdy. It took only a few minutes to put together and looks great as well as being great value for money. There was a mix up in the delivery where I received a wrong item, this was sorted out very quickly with no fuss and the company said for me to keep the first delivery as way of apology. This company was a pleasure to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The stand arrives in a number of pieces and needs a screwdriver to assemble; it's not difficult and the instructions are clear. I found that it falls over easily - the base is narrow and lacks weight. Several people have been surprised by taking their coat off it, only to see it fall away as the weight changes! I fixed it by adding a metal weight to the bottom, but it should either have a wider base or more weight as standard.

L'articolo è arrivato in perfette condizioni,montarlo è stato facile anche se ho dovuto sostituire le viti incluse perché troppo corte; l'unica pecca è che è poco stabile. In ogni caso il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto buono e lo fa rientrare tra i buoni acquisti.

Der Garderobenständer ist nicht teuer, und ich hatte kein Wunder erwartet. Sah auf den ersten Blick auch gleich billig aus, die Farbe war zum Teil verlaufen, und die einzelnen Holzteile waren nicht gerade exakt gearbeitet. Wäre alles nicht so schlimm gewesen, aber das Zusammenbauen ist eine Katastrophe! Man muss jeweils mehrere Holzteile mit Schrauben verbinden. Die dafür vorgebohrten Löcher sind aber oft überhaupt nicht an der Stelle, die man mit der Schraube überhaut erreichen kann! Zum Teil kann man das ein bisschen hinbiegen, aber an manchen Stellen geht das nicht. Da zeigt die Schraube dann ins Leere... Man kann auch nicht einfach woanders schrauben, dann sieht man die ursprünglichen Löcher. Und ich hab auch keine Lust, bei den vielen Schrauben bei fast jeder basteln zu müssen. Funktioniert nicht, sieht billig aus, schicke ich zurück.

günstig (ich habe es für 23 Euro bekommen), aber ich musste extra Löcher bohren um es zusammenbauen zu können, die vorhandenen Löcher waren teilweise an falschen Stellen gebohrt,so dass ich das Produkt nicht montieren konnte

Fenomenal la compra del perchero de roble,el montarlo es tan sencillo que cae por su propio peso,solo mirando la hoja del montaje,por lo demás ya trae unos pequeños agujeros que coinciden perfectamente todos y cada uno de los tornillos,recomendable destornillador eléctrico,me sobró uno de todas formas ,la parte superior tiene un sistema giratorio,muy eficaz para buscar una prenda dándole un pequeño giro hacia cualquiera de los 2 lados,me hubiera gustado un poco mas oscuro para hacerme juego con todo el salón que es de cerezo,pero mas adelante y un día con ganas me pongo y con un barniz de color cerezo lo dejo bordado,la relación calidad-precio está muy acorde con las características del mismo y soporta mucha mas carga de ropa de lo que parece.
