CCENT/CCNA ICND1 100-105 Official Cert Guide

Under normal circumstances you'd probably try to avoid a bloke called Wendel, you'd need an A record to ensure your clients could resolve his name. But thankfully he's a world class IP-helper and has written a bible for ICND1. Make sure you understand RIP, Securing/hardening routing devices (configuring local security), DHCP configuration, ACL's and NAT/PAT. This book has great straightforward examples and, from a 2nd line engineer with basic knowledge of networking, I now understand how the Internet works, which was something of a childhood curiosity for me. Enjoy!

This is a very detailed book very good for the exam. I enjoy explenations and simple diagrams and this is what is in the book. I dont have to go to external sources to understand something from the book which I didnt get which is what I enjoyed most about this book

Just as described. Ideal for studying. Its overloaded with information and should be combined with some online study or video labs.

Seems to cover the topics very well (have not read it). A very nice book for ICND1 if you have plenty of time, but you also need more labs like in P. Tracer and probably more exam questions to review as much as you can (check websites). The book I ordered arrived black & white instead of color printed(4 stars). How about yours? Nicholas

Just what I needed, bigger than I expected as I was going to take on holiday with me. Also has a code included which gives access to a 1000 question ICND1 exam simulator which is excellent.

Per quanto riguarda il libro è una eccellente guida alla certificazione CCNA CISCO (CENT), perchè oltre ad essere scritto in un inglese facilmente accessibile è anche strutturato in modo tale da comprendere bene sia la teoria che la pratica.

El producto llego antes de lo esperado, lo único malo es que llego con unos cuantos detalles (rayones) en la pasta del libro, nada que afecte el aprendizaje que se obtiene de este libro. De ahí en fuera es un libro muy completo y con mucho contenido de ayuda, un buen libro para empezar tu carrera profesional como analista en redes, NOC, etc.

Livraison assez rapide. Le contenu du livre (en anglais ) est particulièrement bien détaillé. J'y ai trouvé toutes les réponses à mes questions. Le DVD de Test Prep (livré avec le livre) est très utile et parfait pour s’entrainer aux questions de l'examen. A savoir que les bases de questions sont mise à jour régulièrement. J'ai cependant utilisé en plus d'autres sites d'entrainement payant (je pense que c'est recommandé de le faire). Note obtenue à l'ICND-1 : 978/1000 avec 4 mois de préparation et comme support principal The Official Cert Guide de Odom, qui n'est plus à présenter pour les initiés.

Herr Odom hat dieses Buch sehr gut geschrieben und alles erklärt, was für einen Cisco-Test benötigt wird.
