We bought these to replace bowls with plastic lids. These can go through the microwave, dishwasher, and oven without bending or caving in.If you invert the lids for storage, the bowls make a stable stack just under 6" (15cm) tall. (see photo).We bought one set about six months ago and liked them so well we bought a second set. They have held up well to daily use in microwave, gas oven, frig, and dishwasher. They don't seem prone to chipping like some glass bowls have been.

Glass is thinner than I thought. Light weight. Stack well. Good value

USPS dropped this package over a 6 foot gate!!! When I saw the dent, I was certain that the glass casserole dish had been shattered. Not so--the seller securely packaged the glass container into a thin cardboard box and Amazon added a box with other items but no bubble wrap (thankfully). Amazon should have labeled the package "FRAGILE". I carefully inspected the glass--no cracks, no chips--amazingly tough glass. Hopefully there are no unforeseen problems once I bake in it. Surrounded by glass, food should cook perfectly in my solar oven.

Nice set of casserole dishes. They are thin but do the job. I love the way they nest for storage and that you can actually use the lids for shallow bowls. I have a feeling they would break easily but for the price compared to other dishes, these are a great value.

I never microwave frozen vegetables in the bag. Bad habit and not good for you. These dishes are perfect for that and other meal prep.

Excellent dishes!! Lids lock onto base, so the tops don't slide around. I highly recommend these bowls.

My Casserole Lid showed up, broken!! I want to return it!!!
