Can this varnish be used on alcohol ink paintings?

Yes it can but I have found that you must make sure that the ink is very dry - I would give it a few days before use.

Does this work on drawings with brush pen? Thanks

I am sorry i don't know th answer to that as I have only used it on acrylic paint. But I would hazzard a guess that it would be ok. i hope this helps.

What does this varnish protect from?

Hi I use this for my acrylic and oil paintings, it protect from moisture, sunlight and provide a water resistant coating so artwork can be cleaned with a damp cloth. I have tried many and this is by far the best.

Great, thanks

Works really well, easy to use and gives a lovely even satin finish. Bloody stinks to high heaven though! And if not left to dry properly (360 degrees) then can dry with some tack to it.

Nozzle keeps getting Blocked...

The Nozzle keeps getting block and I have to change it with a different one from the Gloss tin, bought two a satin and Gloss to see the difference. The varnish goes on evenly with a good amount of sheen if only the nozzle wouldn't block up as its a right pain, back to W&N then...

Easy to apply

Bought this to varnish my acrylic and ink paintings as I was getting fluff coming off my brush and ink was smudging with liquid varnish. It's very easy to apply and you get a thin layer with each application. I found I needed to apply 3 or 4 layers to get an even finish. Best to use in a well ventilated room, I held my breath whilst spraying, then shut the door and left it for an hour or so before returning. Fumes can be dangerous if inhaled.
