With all the kids in the UK being sent home from schools, I was looking for a decent desk for my 5 year old to use over the coming months to help get into a routine. She is average height and only just turned 5. The size is spot on and I think she'll easily get a year or two out of it.It was straight forward to assemble and took about half an hour. I added a couple of pads (the kind you stick under furniture to stop it scraping) onto the desk lid to make it quieter when closing.My daughter loves it and I feel it was good value for money.

Great little desk and stool for a toddler who wanted a desk like her older brother and sister.Please be aware however that the instructions are not the clearest and the wood is extremely soft and cheap. Over screwing would easily have resulted in split wood and the item itself is quickly becoming scuffed and chipped however from the price I knew this was not going to be the highest quality piece of furniture. In addition the lid on the desk has no soft close and little fingers could easily be squashed.......

Great little desk. Pretty easy to assemble with basic instructions. Some parts are labelled to make assembly easier.Brilliant for my little girl. She loves it. Initially Intended as a craft desk but she likes to eat dinner at it too.Stool is very sturdy and fits perfectly with the desk.Only slight negative is the inside bottom is a bit flimsy and is made of thin backboard material. Plenty sturdy enough for my deinty daughter though.

The item looks very nice but unfortunately the first set of screws you need to get started are not in the pkt,so 3 days before xmas it to late to replace, hope wicks have some that fit ,l did check all decks items when it arrived as l knew l would not be putting it together until now so advice to all check your screws as well.

Delighted with this desk. Bought for my grandson’s 5th birthday and he’s going to love it. Well made from good quality materials. Easy to assemble and went together perfectly. Highly recommended.

I liked this product but didn't realise that it did not suit a child of 8 years - he was too big for it - the desk and stool was of good quality

According to the recipient's dad this was easy to assemble. According to the recipient's mum this was well received by the recipient. What more do you need?

Maybe a good idea to put some woodworking glue (the white stuff) on screw threads for extra safety,( I had 2 screws turn when tightened, possible oversized holes.Otherwise excellent buy.Bought for 6 yr old granddaughter (fits 9-10 clothes) and just the right size.
