2515 Spiked screeding Compound Roller, 500mm x 21mm, Large

Bought this to remove air bubbles during putting down self-levelling compound in my garage and it performed very well. Simply attached it to a broom handle. Large size meant it required little effort to cover the area and cleaning after the job was very easy. I don't have another job for it so it'll probably be offered secondhand to someone, but it was worth having the right tool for the job.

As a floor layer i was sceptical about this spike roller due to the cheap price. But a fellow tradesman bought one and raced about it. It is sturdy, and good quality. I have used it on 5 latex screed jobs now and cleaned it after each use. All the spikes are in tact still, the roller hasn’t clogged and although it didn’t come with a pole I attached one I already had and the attachment provided with the roller was clearly universal. At the cost of the spike roller I could afford to replace it every other month. But because I clean after each use I reckon it’ll last plenty of jobs.

Product is very good shame it didn't arrive next day as advertised on prime and the whole reason for buying this product as I needed it the next day. Should be delivered when stated.

Cheap enough and worked OK, but will I ever level another floor? Remember this is mostly intended to remove air bubbles and not to level the floor compound - it hardly moves any material no matter how long you spend using it. It does eliminate small local irregularities in the level, but you need to get things pretty level overall before using this as the final operation. Make sure you get the compound into the corners AND I would recommend a plastic garden leaf rake as a excellent way of spread and level the compound before using this roller.

Very good for price, done my house with no problems and still have it for future use. You will need some old brush pole or similar, would advise to get spiked shoes, have a large bucket with water like plasters bucket, heigh enough to clean the spikes/tools properly. Finish came out very nice no bubbles.

Used this to smooth out self leveling compound over underfloor heating cables. The spikes 'fine tune' the final distribution of the self leveling compound to an even depth, and also eliminate any bubbles that may be trapped within the compound itself during laying. Essential for a great finish, ready for tiling or carpeting. The roller is well made and cleans easily as long as it's done immediately after use.

If you buy this roller, make sure the very first thing you do is remove 1 or 2 of the rings of spikes and fill with washers. After only one or two uses it will not roll freely and consequently make the leveling compound more uneven by catching and dragging

I've now poured about a 100 bags of levelling screed across my house without using one of these. On the last room I was pouring I bought this, and wish I had got it 90 bags ago. Such is life.

Works well! Though i thought it would do a better job of feathering edges to exist grade. You still must trowel feather or whatever you do to have NO transition lip between new self leveler and old surface.

Rueda muy bien y hace su función. Incluye adaptador para colocarle un mango (yo he usado uno extensible que tengo para los rodillos). Y después de utilizarlo se limpia muy bien con un chorro de agua.

Attenti ad immergerlo sempre in acqua durante le pause perchè se si indurisce nella parte dove dovrebbe girare non gira più e dovrete smontarlo per sbloccarlo......e l'autolivellante è noto per non essere molto paziente.
