Awesome budget-level drum mics!
I have this setup with my Mapex maple 3 tom, 3 cymbal kit - and it is fantastic as a starter-level set! It can pick up the highs from the cymbals and the lows from the bass drum. It isn't studio-level quality (that you would get from a much more expensive set) but it does work great for lower-level sound pickup during events or entry-level recording.It comes with a bunch of mics, the slim ones for the cymbals, large for the bass drum, and the rest for snare and toms. The clips are secure on my set.This doesn't include the other equipment such as cables, mic stands (for cymbals and bass) but that is typical for buying microphones.I haven't tried using these for anything other than my drums, but I would imagine they'd work okay for vocals or other instruments as well.I would highly recommend W IN-MIX G7 7-Piece Wired Dynamic Drum Mic Kit.
