Definitely delivers cooling to the areas that need it. I have one for the shoulder and now one for the hand/wrist and they work so very very well! Honestly have greatly improved rehab post surgery!! My advice is to freeze a couple bottles of water to put in the cooler. Will last longer and you can cycle bottles between the freezer and the cooler.

Worked well to wrap around knee after knee surgery. Two thumbs up .

Very easy to use and set up

I purchased this shoulder attachment for a previously purchased icing unit . Although the instructions show ease of putting it on, I want to say that if you are using this for shoulder surgery, you will need help putting it on, despite the instructions showing ease. It is a great ice therapy unit, but if you don’t have assistance in getting it put together and using it post-op, it will probablely prove difficult. I was able to help my husband, so it wasn’t an issue.

Two years ago I bought a Polar Active Ice unit with the shoulder pad attachment for use after a rotator cuff surgery. The cold water greatly reduced any discomfort that I was feeling, and allowed me to sleep at night.I had a total knee replacement operation scheduled and ordered the knee pad attachment. It plugged in fine and worked great with no leaks. I have had the knee surgery and am recuperating. The cold water through this pad great lessens the pain. I am able to get by with very little pain medication. This is a nicely designed piece of equipment, and I am thankful that this was available. This was money well spent..

It works well. The connection for the hoses is to the side so when using on the left foot I would recommend wrapping the hose connection with a towel so that the connection does not rub the right leg. It is comfortable and size is good

This is so easy to use, very good quality and provides tremendous pain relief. This has been a lifesaver!! It is the perfect size for back pain relief.

Fabulous product. Purchase this size. Much better than the other smaller shaped pads.
