Works well, as long as you follow precautions.
I live in a signal with a weak GSM signal, and I also work on GSM related equipment. I struggled to get a good signal until I used this antenna. I also attached it to a pole so that it is elevated about 4M off the ground, and used a very low loss cable (which starts to get quite expensive). However, my signal went from almost non existent, so almost perfect, so with the correct antenna, pole and cable, it definitely works.

Performed worse than internal antennas, seemed to cause instability on main antenna
At my property I already have a Poynting directional 5G antenna which is currently performing double duty as the 4G anchor and 5G service but since it's only 2x2 I thought I'd get another antenna to handle the 4G anchor band. Despite being installed up a pole it had worse RSRP than the internal antennas from the router on the ground floor.Antenna also claims 16-18db of gain which I didn't believe from the start due to my really good antenna being a peak of 11db a directional vs this being omni-directional but my expectations were being at least as good as the internal antennas which it did not meet, antenna's sticker however claims 10-12db which is also incorrect and conflicts with Amazon advertising. With the antenna installed on the pole I also noticed even with it not plugged into the router to seemingly cause interference with my main antenna as it started causing signal drops which dissapeared once I removed this antenna from the pole.

Worked for me, but not 28 dBi
Happy to say I went from 4-5Mbps to 30-40Mbps download. But your mileage may vary depending on quality / location of signal in your area. This is true of any antenna, not just this particular one.-1 star because the description says 28dBi gain, but clearly marked on label as 18dBi. Build quality is OK - I am using in the attic, so can't comment on weather durability. Detachable cable is appreciated vs. built-in if it ever breaks and needs replacing.

Not sure this is fit for purpose
I bought this to boost the signal to my tplink router, but I think I need to invest in a second one for the other antenna because no matter which antenna I fix this one to it makes no difference to the signal strength. A Little more intelligible information in the description might be useful please

Looks great, made no difference to signal strength
Installed it on our TV Aerial pole and moved our EE Receiver upstairs as the leads are quite short, and made absolutely no difference to the one bar signal we receive anyway. Having read reviews after the event, wish I had read them first so as not to waste time and money on any of these antennas as clearly they don’t work

Made no difference
Have removed it from the router as it made no difference despite mounting on tall wooden pole in various locations. Speeds just as good with router short antennae.
