NoSox Men's Wino

As far as sizing goes, my experience is that these shoes run longer than most. Note that I ordered the taupe color and since I've experienced some shoe brands that have size variation from color to color, I wanted to make it clear my experience is only with this shoe in the color taupe. I wear a size 11 in most other shoes, but needed a size 10 in these. I only plan on wearing these shoes without socks, so size 10 gave me a comfortable, sock-less fit. My foot width is D and the width of these shoes in compatible with that width. When reviewing shoes, I think we can all make better online sizing decisions if we all state the usual size we wear in most shoes and then compare that size to the size of the shoes being reviewed.These are definitely summer casual shoes as they consist of a flexible, airy, mesh body on a decent sole. The sole seems fairly sturdy and thick enough such that a piece of glass or similar object isn't going to puncture through it. As far as color goes, I'll say the "Taupe" color is actually a little darker in person compared to what the pictures show. I think the color looks better in person. It's more like a tan color.I'll update this review later after walking around in these for a few months. I wanted to add my sizing experience, so we can all save time.

Love the shoes, 2nd pair, but the sizing is sooo off, IMO... I bought a pair in a store years ago and thankfully so cuz I got to try them for size. Ordering these online is tough , I wear 10.5 and 11 if it's a sneaker, I recently returned the 10.5 for a 10 and I'm pretty sure I could wear a 9.5 in these. Amazon returns are super easy and a very fast turnaround, got the new ones faster than the original. I'll keep buying them but I wish the color options were more available. Great summer shoe!

This is the second time I buy these socks to replace a pair I bought back in 2014 and have been wearing them whenever I needed shoes for the beach or pool and loved them since the first day. They are lightweight and airy. I wear them with or without socks. The only complain I had with the first pair was that the insole got loose quite fast but I was able to have it repaired very easily with contact glue. Since then, they have not got loose anymore. Unfortunately, when I decided to replace the first pair the size was completely worn off and I could not tell it. I had Amazon suggest which size to buy and they recommended size 11. I thought they would be too large so ordered size 10.5. Now that I got the shoes, the 10.5 are still somewhat large for my feet. I would have preferred 10, instead. My suggestion for you is to give it a try but consider at least 0.5 or 1 size smaller than what Amazon suggests.

I can only describe these shoes..made by NoSox. Wino? I havejust bought my third pair. Grey, Black, Taupe. Thinking about theblue. I stand on my feet all day..usually 9 hours at the time. For35 years I have been looking for a pair of shoes that actuallyprovide maximum comfort throughout the shoe...Bottom, topand sides. These WINO are like putting on a comfortable pair ofsocks. Extremely light weight. The most important thingto me is the way the sole is made. The elephant on the backof the shoe sort of explains the concept of the way the soleis made...Most shoes seem to support greatwhile standing perfectly straight up...but I bend up and downall day and as I move, the extra support that extends aroundthe perimeter of the sole is just enough to support me inany angle I am standing . Another plus..they breathe. I I I These are the only shoes I wear now..My legs and feet feel about50 percent better than they did before wearing theseshoes. Stylish enough for me....with or without socks.. You WILL NOT find a more comfortable pair ofshoes. I turn 60 in September and believe meI have been through alot of shoes.

The insert for the shoe will not stay in the shoe. It tends to climb up your heel all the way to the leg. I have had to wear the shoe without the insert, which I preferred not to do, but it is necessary. It is embarrassing to have the sole insert creeping up the back of your leg, when you walk. Only issue that we did not like. Elsewise, the shoes are great.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable and very easy to slip off and on. They truly are like walking on a cloud and they look great too! They fit true to size, in fact whether or not you intend to wear them with socks may make a difference in terms of what size to get. I have a size 10 pair that feel great with no socks, but a bit snug with socks. I also have pair of 10 1/2's and they fit perfectly with socks but a bit loose without. They look great with or without socks, by the way. My only complaint is the rather uninspired and even boring colors that are available for this "fun" shoe. Taupe? Really? I have a pair in black and navy and just ordered the deep sea blue. Wish they made it in red.

These are comfortable for around the house and nice enough for a walk to the mailbox or whatever, but they are larger/looser than I expected. I first bought 10.5, had to send it back; then bought 10, and even that is too loose. The insert is a little flimsy, but comfortable enough.

If you have been buying Summer weight shoes, these are among the best alternative. There are others on the market which are similar, but double the price. Nice memory cushion insole, pretty good arch support and you can get them wet without concern. Please note that they run a little large (size 13 for me). Thus, I wear them either with short or regular socks. Without the socks, I feel like they would be somewhat loose. So, if you are between sizes, go DOWN, not up in choices of sizes.
