There is something different with these Hornby points than the ones from a decade ago, these are made in china and seem quite flimsy, My trains from late '90's and early 2000's have difficulties with these points, as well as new rolling stock derailing regularly. I ordered some new train sets from hornby a couple months ago and the points included in those kits didn't have any problems, so i don't know what the difference is as they both had China stamped on the bottom. I think for the future I will try the Hornby Express points so there isn't as sharp a radius on them.
