LimbO Waterproof Protection for Light Foot Dressing. M20 Fits Ankle 20-25 cm Circumference. Suitable for Shower Only.

After two separate operations on my foot, and one on my knee, I can honestly say that these covers have been a lifesaver. The ability to have a proper shower very soon after major surgery, with no risk of leaving the wound or dressing area wet, and therefore subject to infection, is very reassuring, not to mention a huge boost to morale. The combination of light weight woven cover material, plus a black rubber/silicon waterproofing seal is very effective, not to mention comfortable and pretty much slip proof. Points worth noting – 1. They don’t last forever, two months if used on a daily basis seems to be normal. 2. They air dry rapidly. 3. If your foot is particularly large, swollen, or has a bulky dressing, then you are likely to be far better off with the version that covers half of the foot (goes up to the knee). As far as I’m concerned, this product is invaluable - there is no substitute for a good shower to stay fresh, particularly if you are stuck in hospital. Well worthwhile buying in advance of surgery. Highly recommended.

I ordered this the evening I came home after surgery and it arrived the following morning. Very efficient. The limbo is easy to get on and it fits around my ankle giving a perfect seal to protect the bandage from water. I used it in the shower. It was easy to remove and my bandages remained dry. A very good product.

Purchased this after foot surgery as I needed to keep the dressing dry. I was a little worried it might not be 100% water proof,however the limbo kept the dressing completely dry every time. It’s not super long but will cover 6 or so inches above the ankle so perfect for post op foot surgery. Fits snugly around ankle and easy to put on and remove. There are cheaper versions out there but this is well worth the price and does exactly what was needed. Make sure that you measure your ankle/ lower calf to get the correct size. I would recommend this product and am completely satisfied with its claim to be totally waterproof.

These Limbo waterproof covers are great. I had foot surgery previously and bought one of the longer versions which covers to just above the knee. It really was a god-send and enabled me to shower normally without worrying about getting bandages and stitches wet. Recently I've had further surgery on both feet and saw the ankle version so bought this to use along with my existing above the knee version. It too is completely watertight and does what it says, but it has given me problems with getting it on, and more particularly off, over a large bandage with a tender foot underneath. It has tended to drag the bandaging off and I've had to get my foot re-dressed a few times. The tighter neoprene banding needed to achieve the watertight finish at the ankle is just a bit too small to comfortably get it on and off over the padded foot. If I had thought this through I would have bought another of the over the knee sizes, which easily slip on and off. All in all, a great product, but if you've got big bandage to take into account, you might want to consider the longer version.

Husband had a toe operation and this let him shower easily and kept dressings totally dry. Highly recommend . Great fit and easy to use, didn’t rip even after 3 months daily use. He is a size 9 foot and fitted easily. Great quality.

This item was recommended to my husband by healthcare professionals to protect the bandaging on his foot, and has worked as promised, but only been used once so far. It seems relatively easy to get on and off and the instructions were clear so very happy with purchase.

I had extreme difficulty getting it over my heal but it worked very well when I had succeeded and kept my foot absolutely dry

Excellent product. This is the second time of purchasing from Limbo. Have used both the half leg and the foot Protectors. Quality is excellent and have loaned out the one and also used by my husband and plenty of life left in it. The foot protector is true to size and equally as effective. Don’t be fooled by cheaper products. Limbo does exactly as it says on the tin. Excellent product!

J'ai attendu de l'avoir utilisé avant de donner mon avis, et sincèrement très étonné de la solidité. Je chausse du 38 et j'ai choisi la taille adulte 40 cm.J'ai rentré facilement mon pied avec gros pansement sans risqué de me faire mal, j'ai même réussi à rentrer ma chaussure sober de décharge les premiers jours, je la rentrais seule puis j'installais dans un 2ème temps mon pied. Je l'ai utilisé 45 jours non stop afin de protéger un pansement après une intervention du pied lors de la douche.Jamais eu d'entrée d'eau.Le néoprene est vraiment efficace pour faire l'étancheité. La protection est comme neuve et je compte bien la réutiliser pour l'inervention du 2ème pied.(je l'ai utilisé avec soin). Un grand merci à LIMBO

Eine spitzen Schutzhülle für den Fuß beim Duschen hält den Verband zu 100% trocken und das bei mehrfachen Benutzen volle Zufriedenheit kann man nur empfehlen wenn man naße Verbände vermeiden will

I like Limbo -- I have the full leg/up to the knee cover and it works well. But after foot surgery they put you in a surgery boot, and almost NONE of these (including this foot one) has an opening that stretches large enough to fit over the surgery boot. The full leg one does, but it seems stupid to be wearing it when all you need to cover is your foot. I don't know why they don't make these for what people actually need them for.

Ich bin am 6.08 18 am Hallux operiert worden , und muss für zwei Wochen einen Verband tragen der nicht runtergemacht werden darf. Dafür habe ich mir diesen Dusch und Badeschutz gekauft. Was soll ich sagen ich bin begeistert . Der Duschschutz ist absolut dicht. Zum anziehen muss man das Gummiteil umgedreht anlegen , dann kann man den Schuh problemlos über den Verband anziehen. Hat man den Fuß in der Schutzhülle wird der Gummiring wieder zurück gestülpt und eng an der Wade angelegt. Damit ist alles dicht. Ich habe inzwischen schon mehrmals damit geduscht und der Verband ist trocken wie eh und je. Ich kann dieses Teil nur jedem ans Herz legen der am Fuß operiert wird
