This headrest is of good quality build and is perfect for those who can maintain their head upright.In transportation wheelchair user also feels safe, and this headrest certainly does the job of others more expensive version that actually come with wheelchairs originally.Easy to install too.Thanks

There are two big design and one small flaws that made me give this headrest 3 stars.1/ As I use it on a folding wheelchair (probably a common use) then I need to remove it often. The headrest is removed from the two arm fixings by undoing tiny grub screws with the supplied allen spanner. If they had used more meaty screws with plastic headed screw tops this would have made removal easy. Ironically, the bit you can leave in place has those kind od screw heads. They were not thinking.2/ The headrest itself can wrap around your head to provide support. But to give it the resistance to do this you have to remove the tight fitting cover and then use a spanner and allen key (not supplied) to tighten the fixing. These are not easily reachable either.3/ The bolt cover, designed to prevent scratches on your handle bars when fitting the side brackets did not fit either of my wheelchairs. So I had to fit them without. Not sure what design chair they would fit,Other than these gripes it is a very useful headrest for me and better than the other design with a straight up fabric back and velcro foam cushion.

im sorry for the one star. received item and one side was broken and was not the model as advertised. on top of this the manual that was included was not relevant to the model advertised or the model received.However, when I called the company, they were very quick on sorting out a courier to collect the item and gave me a full refund within 2 days and the lady on the phone helped as much as she could.

Doesn't fit all wheelchairs but the item itself is relatively god quality

Very complicated and difficult to attach and remove from the chair. The chair cannot be collapsed for stowage or transport with the headrest attached which makes going out a real pain. The headrest never goes back onto the chair in exactly the same position it was before, requiring messing around with the complex and unhelpful lever arrangement in order to get back to the correct position. The levers interfere with each other often requiring one lever to be undone again in order to tighten another. Once it is attached to the chair and adjusted correctly it is very good, but it takes ages to do this and you dread taking it off as you know you will have to go through the whole palaver again.

Although when I first tried to fit it to my fathers wheelchair it was a bit like trying to solve a problem on the Crystal Maze,I did finally get it into a position that in my dads words was 'perfect'.He has a condition called Cerebellar Ataxia,over the past 10 years it has slowly and inexorably reduced a once active man to a wheelchair.He can now sit upright and rest his head in comfort and for that I am grateful.thankyou for your prompt delivery.
