Adventures on Lake Pollishoff
Originally known as Tintin et le Lac aux Requins, based on the Tintin animated film, directed by Raymond LeBlanc (1972). The world's biggest pearl is stolen from the Museum of Oceanography. Meanwhile Tintin and Captain Haddock arrive at Klow airport in Syldavia , on a visit to see Professor Calculus at Villa Sprog on the mysterious Lake Pollishoff.Tintin makes friends with two Syldavian children , Niko and Nushka who rescue Tintin and the Captain from a plane crash. The Professor has invented a machine that can reproduce objects.Rastapopulous want to get his hands on the Professor's machine , and kidnaps Niko and Nushka. On the trail to rescue the kids , Tintin end up discovering a large criminal gang at the base of the bottom of the lake , ruled by Tintin's old nemesis Rastapopulous. Rastapopulous tries to drown Tintin , Niko and Nushka , but with the help of the Captain , Snowy , Niko and Nushka's dog Gustav , the Syldavian police and the Thompson twins , the day is saved and Rastapopulous and his gang are brought to justice. I liked the way the characters where superimposed on the realistic background , which beautifully recreates the fictional Balkan country of Syldavia.

The 25th unofficial TinTin comic - movie comic
• Tintin and the Lake of Sharks was originally a 1972 animated film, not a Hergé comic. • In 1973, a comic book version was released to accompany the movie. • The “comic” is not drawn in Hergé’s ligne claire style — instead, it is made up of film stills with added speech bubbles and narration text. • Because of this, most Tintin fans don’t consider it a “canonical” Tintin album, but rather a film comic or photo-novel.
