Ultra Clean Material

Very impressed with this product. I use it when cleaning .223 .308 and 8mm barrels attached to jags. The "rough" side of the cloth does a really good job of removing dirt and deposits from the bores after being scrubbed with a bronze brush. Much better than the usual cloth patches. Finish off by using the smooth side to polish and dry. My 8mm Mauser has a remarkably good bore anyway for a 70 year old gun but this product gave it a particularly good clean leaving a gleaming bore.This material cleans better with fewer passes than normal patches.

I had a very dirty passage, this let me clean it and lube it so it was sparkling and clean. I might even use it on my gun.

Having just taken up skeet/clays and spending a few quid on a decent gun. I thought I would purchase a product which was highlighted on a You Tube video by Napier. It is in effect an extended cleaning cloth. As yet I have to be wowed by the product. Its OK, but an old pair of sweats would do just as well on a Jag with a decent solvent

Having used conventional cleaning methods and Napier products for my shotgun I thought I would try this new product from Napier and can say it is quicker and easier than previous methods but also appears to work equally well.I given it only four stars as of yet because I have only used it once so can't comment on it's longer term use.

Nice long roll, easily cut to length and cleaned my gun with ease after 100 clay shoot.Rough side could be a bit rougher perhaps if you forget to clean your gun straight away but that is a minor observation.Seller very helpful when contacted with a delivery issue.

This product has a place in gun cleaning but I have not found it to be as efficient as shown by the company. As a clay pigeon shooter for over 25 years I have found that it does clean the barrels but not always as thoroughly as I would like. It can take a fair length to wrap around the recommended jag to allow sufficient pressure on the inside of the barrel as such it can be expensive to use. It has a place in your gun cleaning kit alongside other cleaning materials.

Have been using for 2 years, barrels spotlessly clean, will continue to purchase
