Very good value indoor stand. Best with a few mods
At Β£30-Β£35 or so this is a great value bike stand and gets five stars. And, if you have a bike, having a bike stand is a really good idea. it means you can do mtce jobs faster and better. And this one folds down to practically nothing, easy to disassemble /store too.Top tip: the blue soft jaw ends of the clamp are only held in place by friction. they can and do slide off. it is worth fixing them securely in place. drill a small 1.5-2mm hole and fit a tiny screw through from the outside (not from the inner face of the jaw, that touches the paintwork of your bike). two screws for each jaw end, eight in total. If you want to be able to fold it up quickly to fit in an extra small space - like to fit in an umbrella stand - then you might also want to make a mod to the mounting of the bits n bobs tray, to make it easier to remove / reinstall.Things that might be better on other, perhaps pricier, models:1. The stand is a little clunky to deploy. It seems reluctant to spread its legs, maybe its just my ropey bedside manner. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it.2. The vice closure is on a screw thread (slow but sure), it doesnt have a quick release lever.Really glad I acquired it.

Excellent piece of kit for the price and a game-changer for home bike maintenance
I want to be able to do some bits and bobs on my own bike to save me the time and cost of a LBS doing the work, but to avoid damaging the bike and to make things easier for me, I wanted to get a stand. This was the one most highly-rated and without spending a fortune, and I am glad I got it.Used for the first time yesterday, it's a 5 min job to assemble and when set up for the bike, the feet are well spaced for maximum stability (although you can adjust the footprint). The footprint, overall height, and position of the clamp are all adjustable and this is easy to do, and it all folds up when not in use.I clamp my bike at the seat post and i noted that you need to make sure the clamp is clear of the seat-clamp of the bike when securing. In this position the weight is in the front wheel so this puts some twisting pressure on the clamp and it didn't look as secure. It would be absolutely fine if using on the top tube, but this needs to be done with care depending on what material the bike is made from.To summarise, if you want the ability to tinker with your brakes, gears, tires etc without turning the bike upside down and risking the brakes and shifters being damaged, then you need this in your life!

Wish I'd bought this year's ago
Wasn't sure how good this would be, considering the price, however was astounded by how well made it is. It supports my bike (and also my wife's bike) with ease and makes it pleasant to work on them. So much easier to set up gears or perform general maintenance when the bike is firmly held at a height that means no squatting down (saves a bad back!). It is quick to set up and collapses down for easy storage. Not too heavy to move around, but very sturdy. An essential piece of kit for any bike owner who wants to look after their bike.

Worth its weight.
Very good budget option and essential if you are going to maintain you bike properly....Beats balancing it on the washing basket by a long long way and doesnt piss off the mrs half as much...Its sturdy even when extended high and away from the stand body to roll the front cog around for tuning gears etc.

Solid!
Well, this is fantastic value for money!A very solid, hefty stand to clamp bike on. Very easy to assemble, clear instructions. My worries about pedals catching were unfounded: it looks to be excellent!Only tried a quick "chain oil", but I have no doubts it will take any work tasks on easily & safely.Recommended!

Perfecto
Great item and fantastic price. This is exactly what I was looking for and reduces stress and anxiety sorting out my bike after a big ride. I absolutely love this. Perfect for a road bike and very sturdy. I love the fact that it falls away instantaneously and yet is strong and robust. I have no hesitation in recommending this to prospective buyers.

Perfect for my hybrid bike
This bike holder is perfect. I though I may have trouble fitting my hybrid bike onto it because of the wide rectangular frame, but no ... It fits and holds it perfectly. I now actually clean my bike more often cause it's so easy to do whilst not having to hold the bike or turn it upside down and scratching the brake and gear levers. For the price, you can't go wrong. It folds away almost flat, so storage in the corner of the shed is ideal.

PedalPro Folding Bicycle Maintenance Repair Stand with Tool Tray
LOL, with tool tray? So THAT'S what that thing is!! πππ Great stand, cheap, does the job, will attach tool tray now, lolKinda ignored it before, but that sounds handy, got a rod bit as well, presumably something to do with attaching tool tray, or has some other mystery function, yes it came with instructions, but I'm a guy lol, we NEVER read those πππThis bit will probably be removed, but somebody will get a laugh, guys get instructions, never read them and get it mostly right anyway, girls thoroughly read instructions, then can't understand them anyway. πππAnyway, great value stand.
