This is the 2nd one of these that I have bought. I gave the first 3 stars, but it has turned out to be much better than I originally thought so I ordered the another so I had one for salt and pepper. This one has been much less fiddly to fill and put back together than the first,even through they are exactly the same product, and I love the way that you can decide on the coarseness and change it so easily. Very well made.

If you love the smell of fresh ground pepper that's the mill for you! Easy to use with one hand, a solution with a button on the top is genius! Nice nd sleek design, looks more expensive than it is really (especially on sale;). Mind you: needs 6x AAA batteries (not included). Can't wait for my Italian night and impress my friends with that baby!

So far seems to work very well. Bought the AAA batteries from my local pound shop at 10 for a pound and a well known brand so actually doesn't work out expensive for batteries as others have commented.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Complete waste of money, makes a loud knocking noise and there is no pepper.The instructions say if it is blocked, you can loosen the adjustment knob - but it won't come off. In fact it does come off.Completely useless.

Great little gadget. Instructions were easy to follow, works simply. One handed control is a big plus, as well as being able to change the size of the grind. Sleek design is nice and modern.

I EXPECTED SALT AND PEPPER

i quite like this product to be honest.the design is very simple yet classy because of it's stainless steel finish. it's very easy to use, no need of manuals/instructions. at first i thought it won't grind properly because there's not much noise but when i tried it, it does the job perfectly and that is a plus. the only thing i don't like is it consumes a lot of batteries, 6 triple A batteries to count. And I think it would be nice if it comes with free batteries so customers can use the product straight away.

Great quality battery operated salt and pepper shaker and grinder. It is well made good quality and design. Look great on the table and easy to use with the press of a button. The bottom cap prevents the inevitable mess. Also very easy to grab while cooking!!They do require six (6) AAA batteries, but I'm sure they will last much longer before replacement is necessary.I would strongly recommend this mill for any household table.
