I only write reviews for products that fail to live up to expectations or indeed exceed expectations.Glad to say that this product falls into the latter category.The product can be used with or without the gooseneck, and will support both Gopro style mounts as well as a standard 1/4" tripod screw. The camera mount, the gooseneck and the clip can all be used individually, paired with each other, and because of the standard fittings, can be used with mounts from other manufacturers. The ball and socket joint on the camera mount gives you even more versatility.Overall construction is excellent, with a strong clip, sturdy but flexible gooseneck and well engineered camera mount. I was happy to use this to attach a £500 camera to my car for filming at 30mph.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, and would recommend anyone who has an action cam or similar to add this to their arsenal.One word of caution - there are a lot of products out there that look similar but lack the full versatility of this item. Beware, and buy the best!

These mounts deserve 5 stars, I am not using them for the intended use but if I was ill be impressed. I'm actually using them to mount my 2 oculus rift sensors onto my monitor stand and they work great. The clamp is strong enough to grip onto anything really and the flexible part is nice and stiff so once you have got it where you want if the camera or whatever your using isn't to heavy then it will hold in place. It would of been 5 stars but there was a couple of tiny problems, none of which are a big deal to me but may he for others. The first is that on one out of the two I ordered the part where the flexible piece goes on the clamp was loose, there is a screw at the back though which can be tightened but it is hard to get to I think, the other one didn't have this problem though. The second problem is that the rubber grips do fall off quite easily from the clamp. This may be a problem if you like to travel around with a camera because it may fall off when you are unmounting it from something without you noticing. This clamp mount is defiently worth the price though. I may even get another one to use with my phone for timelapse capture!

I initially received a sub-standard item (CamKix Clamp Mount for GoPro). The rubber pads kept falling off and were inevitably lost within a few days and the two screws holding the clamp were loose and could not be tightened adequately. I originally left a negative one star review. Without me intending to send the item back the supplier contacted me, apologised, and arranged for a replacement to be sent out within a couple of days which I consider to be exceptional customer service. The replacement was good and seems well made. I am confident that the item is now fit for purpose and will last well. I will however still put a little adhesive between the metal and the rubber to prevent the pads becoming lost in the future.

For the money this is a cracking bit of kit. The arm is strong and stays where you want it. The clamp is strong too and copes with the GoPro weight withoout issue. I actually use it to mount a light camcorder on which is a little over the weight it was designed for and it seems to work pretty well. The only downside is the rubber pads on the clamp which will likely wear through fairly quickly due to the sharp(ish) metal the clam is made from. Not a problem as long as you don't care about the thing that you are clamping to. It should also be noted that the pads are smooth rubber.... not ribbed, spiked or gripped which is maybe a shame but again it really depends on the job it is doing.Nicest thing of all as others have mentioned is the way you can remove the flexible arm and use it on anything with a tripod screw so you are not tied to the clamp at all.All in all a good buy and hand to have in the locker!

It's strong & durable & robust & slightly heavy & the grip is great & I really like how the clamp & neck detaches so you can use the clamp as a sort of mini tripod & maybe the neck as a "selfie stick" as another person already mentioned in previous comments & also loving the 360 ball so you can adjust to any angle 👏👍 I would definitely recommend this, I've purchased a few products from camkix & their all of a grade A quality in my personal opinion!! Broke in about 10 seconds the plastic attached to the clamp Is very fragile and the product just lost its gopro attachment head? If that is what that one is called... Anyways the actual products duct is terrible as the clamp moves a LOT with next to no clamping pressure which is pretty bad bearing In mind this is marketed for an action camera (I use a gopro hero 7 as a WEBCAM AND MINE BROKE SO GL RIDING WITH THIS THING)The only good thing about the product from my point of view would be the arm made of metal although tough but this is good as you want a stiffer pole for an action camera

The item is great. It's sturdy and the swan-neck body is hard enough to keep anything straight up.My problem is that the clamp is very big. It's only usable on the side of the desk. I thought I can use the clamp on the monitor stand but it applies a strong pressure so it should only be used on a tough desk.

Really well made in metal, versatile and durable with the options of the GoPro and standard camera tripod mount. Due to the materials used the clamp and swan neck are very secure and unlikely to move though this does mean it's not lightweight!
