Bleach Series 4 Complete Box Set [DVD]

Box was crushed and was poorly raped for post. disks had been oped finger prints all over them and a few scratches. thankfully minor one

Bought this for my son who seems to like them very much. He is now on volume 13 and as keen as ever on this manga stuff. Though he refuses to use the word manga as he likes to call them anime - I keep telling him that's a new term that isn't as apt as the original but he won't have it. This all strikes me as a little ironic. Kids thinking they're into the latest thing, computer games, Japanese cartoons, when in fact we were amusing ourselves with this stuff in the eighties - and I'm sure the Japanese were doing so long before that. A crafty change of title doesn't really hide the fact that they've discovered something their dads grew out of some time ago. It's a shame that we human beings have to imagine that something is new or that "our" generation discovered it for it to have real value to us. I for one enjoy the Beatles, but I know full well there were screaming hoards of little girls tingling to their music long before I was even born. That doesn't make them any less interesting or valid to me. Van Goch painted over a hundred years ago but nobody thinks he's old fashioned. Bloody kids.

I bought this from MusicMagpie through Amazon (used!) and it's absolutely beautiful. It's almost completely new. As for the episodes itself, I'm one of the few people who actually enjoys the fillers of Bleach more than the canon stuff, which is rare lol. Main reason is because the Arrancar arc lasts through multiple seasons and I really don't have the patience / time for such a long arc. That's why I like these filler box sets a lot because they contain a story that ends in a short span time of 1 season.If you're watching Bleach for the first time, make sure to watch the fillers! Yes they are not canon but they give really more character development instead of just mindless fightscenes for entire seasons.

Que the filler series... :-(Isolated, it's quite decent and worthy of four starts after the first ten episodes that are a little difficult, especially the stupid puppets. God they annoyed me. It was great to see Soul Reapers become students. They're the bit that is worth it for this series. Anyway, good compared to other series out there, the TV people were clearly thinking well for this filler, which is nice to see, but compared with the real story line done by Tite Kubo...? Ugh. Icky. Watch to get it over with, and for the Soul Reapers. Worthy of collection, just nowhere near as polished as the real thing, story line wise anyway. The graphics and creepy 'demon' music are very good.

ok i have just started watching bleach and i have just finished season 3, 1 to 3 were amazing which got me hooked so ithought ok ill buy season 4 now im not gonna be one of those people and say omg it filler bla bla bla but the thing that got me with this one is i knew this was a filler but so much stuff has been taken away the characters feel diffrent these bounts are not to bad some of them are just awful but some are good but for me i have to every episode i cant skip seasons its just not me my best advice to you is just take it for what it is and nothing else and always remember that season 6 is where it goes back to the original storylineso if your like me and need all of them just get this stinker and move on dont complain about it i know its not great but there have been so many avrage reviews on this soooo the choice is yours

Although I have already seen the episodes in english up to episode 167 & a few japanese ones after that, I still had to buy the box set as there is nothing like owning the original copies.The only bad thing for me about this is the last episode - 91 as it leaves a big cliffhanger & it will be another long wait for the next box set to come out - only bad for me as I know what happens (good storylines), those who have not seen the later episodes - it will be worth the wait.

I love bleach and have watched all the episodes so far online, this is great series to say that it's a filler 1, it has sum gr8 eps in it and is well worth the buy, it's brand new perfect condition and despite the fact that no language is stated in the product spec is in english dubbed or japanese with a choice of english subs, i would recommend this for any bleach fans like me, if not for it's range of good eps then just for the collection lol.it's great so i give it 4 out of 5( mainly just because it's a filler).

I love Bleach it is sooooo cool. i thought series 1 was good, but Bleach just keeps getting better and better. I like the change from spirits and hollows to the bounts - i ama vampire fan and the bounts are a very cool adaptation of the myth. Renji is one of my favourite characters and to see him in the world of the living with ichigo, having arguments and being sarcastic is fantastic.I highly recommend Bleach, all of them :-)
