Comfortable and highly visible.
I bought this item as I've recently started running again, and I given the horrible winter we've had and the dark evenings that are still upon us I decided that I should take my visibility seriously.I've seen various different types of running belts and high visibility clothing etc, and the old High Viz vest is a favourite. But this only works if you have a light shining on you from a 3rd party source such as a car headlight etc.The good thing about this running belt is that not only does it incorporate the reflective middle belt, but it produces its own light as well. The 2 cords are powered independently on each side, so you do have to switch both sides on separately using the switches. Each "light rope" also has a few different settings such as constant light, slow flash and fast flash. As there are 2 separate cords, you do need to do this setting for each (probably my only bugbear, and a very minor one).Adjustibility is good over all and the belt remains comfortable. It has a double adjustable central waist belt (so you can fine tune it either side of the strap) and the light cords themselves just slip over your shoulders the same was that you would put on a jacket. The light cords have adjustable toggles on them also, so you can make it tighter or looser around your shoulders. My only gripe (and it's not awful by any means), is that the light distribution is not 100% even throughout the "rope" or "cable" if you will. It's particularly strong nearest the light source (which is the battery packs), and gets gradually dimmer the further you go from there. That's not to say however that it's poor output or not visible. It's still remains highly illuminated across the whole cable. It would be interesting to see if there was a way to balance this out a little more though in the future.Overall I'm very happy with the product. Yes it's a little more expensive than a high viz vest or some other running belts. It does however leave your upper half open to the elements so that it can breath a little better than a vest would allow and it's great for allowing other pedestrians to be able to see you in unlit areas like parks or trails. On a side note, my more childish side (which is still lingering from university) thought that this would make an excellent Rave dance accessory for those student Rave nights! It would go well with UV paint, glowsticks and neon colours I think! :)We'll see how long the batteries last now too. No doubt as they are LED, they should last for a good while before needing replacement.

Incredible must have product for night running
Firstly I really don’t have time to write reviews usually (& I’m an Amazon daily buyer!!) but this product is SO fabulous I had to!I saw someone running last week in the dark with something similar- had to quiz her as I ran Alongside her, I looked it up (£125-gulp) looked at amazons similar products and found this- v reasonable alternative.Arrived in 36 hours, I cross over my head and I genuinely didn’t know I had it on at all! I’m size 10 and the strap has another foot in it bigger and could go a little smaller. Blue lighting. 3 settings (fixed and 2 speeds of flashing) so so light. Two buttons on back so easy to click on and off.( Some alternatives I researched had a number of AA batteries in so must be so heavy.) And best of all I felt safer running around. It’s like that moment you move from a manual car to an automatic...how did you survive before them...well I already wonder why I ran in the dark without lights. Well done owners! 1 improvement- including instructions on how to wear would have really helped me and the tangle I got into!!!Going to treat my running friends to this treat

Decent product
Decent product which makes you highly visible. You can choose whether to have it flashing, or on the whole time. You can also have only one side on which is different! I must say I am the type of runner who hates having anything attached to me at all, and although I would be lying if I said it didn't annoy me at all, its benefits do outweigh this. My only criticism would be, it's a bit big. It keeps riding up on me. I am 5 ft 3 and size 8, so if you are also around this size/height, be prepared that it may be a bit big. You can cross it over at the back, but it's still too big for me. Overall though, for easy runs at night, you can't complain. I wouldn't recommend for tempo or interval training as it would probably bother you.

Value for money
Makes me feel much safer when running. I like the easy of use of the large buttons on/off - allows me to change the light settings as I run.As I am 5'3'' i do cross the lights over my head for a snugger fit.

Good for my cycling commute
Love the fact the lights go round the side of your body, so cars can see me side-on when approaching a junction. Agree with other users that the light is not a consistent brightness along the length of the plastic tube/harness, but generally it is still effective and bright where I need it to be - at the back. The sturdy elastic waistband at full extension is large enough to fit round me and my backpack (20L capacity + female size 12 ) which helps make it feel more secure while I’m riding my bike too, so a great additional extra.

Effective little gadget
This is quite a cool little item... I actually wrap it around various parts of my scotter to make it more visible in the dark. The flashing lights setting is very eye catching as well. it's light, you can put it your bike top box, or leave it wrapped around your handle bars. It's deigned to go on your body, but I'm too lazy to keep taking it on and off. The plastic tubing that goes over your body can be wrapped around your bike just as easily.
