I felt like an expert when it comes to cleaning bags. Easy to use. Value for money. It has given new life to my bags and wallets

I’ve tried this on a few bags and purses and thought I would share my findings. I didn’t use the clothe and sponge which came with the kit, but used clean white clothes from home instead. None of the things I cleaned have been particularly grubby, so I can’t really comment on the deep cleaning solution other than, I used it to freshen up bags without any issues. The leather polish however is brilliant and made a very notable difference. For example I used both cleaner and polisher on a mulberry leather purse. Afterwards the leather was so soft and supple it was like a new purse. I also bought a Radley London leather tan work bag. I meant to use the leather silicon wipes on it which Radley sell to protect it from the offset. But I forgot so after about 3 weeks, I used this leather cleaner and polish. It wasn’t grubby at all as the bag was new. But wow what a difference after using the polisher. The bag looked and felt better than when I first bought it, I didn’t even think that was possible. (I’m not sure if it would work on the waxy coated black leather Radley uses for some bags, but it certainly worked on the uncoated tan leather bag.) I also used both products on two Coach pebble leather bags. One green the other sky blue. I think Coach bags have a protective coating on them anyway. The cleaner worked well though they were only lightly soiled. The polish didn’t seem to make any difference but as mentioned that might be due to the coating on these bags. Also an Aspinell London burgundy tote bag, looked better after using both products. Oh and there is loads left in both bottles, a little bit goes a long way.

Quite good, this worked very well getting some denim dye transfer from a smooth grain bag, but really struggled to clean a heavy pebble grain leather bag.

What I received was a box smaller than the size of a standard book with two bottles (one cleaner, one moisturiser), a sponge and a white cloth (used both of these). I have a small collection of bags that allows me to use a different handbag every month. This way my bags do not get much use and dirt, so I cannot really tell how effective the cleaner can be. It should work on bags that have a lot of dirt on them, I think. In my opinion it is far better than baby water wipes, which can make a bag wet. The moisturiser is pretty good. It did not eliminate old, established scratches on my second-hand bags, but a recent small one on a Radley bag is practically invisible now! It g makes the leather shiny and it smells nice, too! You get small quantities in the bottles, but a little of both contents goes a long way. The sponge and the cloth are ok, they did not scratch or mark the leather.

They could have just sold the Cleaning product and the Conditioner on their own and it would have made a better impression - the poor quality of the sponge and the cloth is very disappointing. I used both product on all my Louis Vuitton items, I was very surprised to see all the dirt that came off the canvas but all in all don’t expect a massive difference. Nothing visible happened beside some dust/dirt coming off the bags. Hopefully the conditioning will help prevent future marks. It didn’t really do much with the inside, didn’t change any already existing water marks or stains. I mean if you are only after a cleaning product it worth a try to see for yourself but surely baby wipes will do the trick on the canvas for €1.50.

I recently purchased a bag from The Handbag Clinic. It needed a clean but I couldn’t justify the £150 price tag to get it professionally restored. Thought I would give this a go and I am so glad I did. It easily removed a build up of dirt, some obvious food marks and some stubborn marks which I didn’t think would come off. You don’t need a lot so I could see this kit lasting a while. The cream you apply after has refreshed the bag and made it smell lovely. 100% would purchase again

I used the solutions as directed and as a direct result my real leather purse has had some leather eroded away and now has a pale patch on it. This is not acceptable and the product is clearly not fit for purpose

Excellent choice. Cleaned my beige Radley bag , which had blue stain on the back from my jeans. It took 3 goes of cleaning, letting it dry slightly then cleaning again, but great result no more blue stain . Bag looks like new again.
