TAMASHII NATIONS Bandai S.H.Figuarts Yuki Mori Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love Action Figure

The Bandai Yuko Mori was released in August of 2017. The Amazon List Price is $54.99, as I write this review, but I bought it when it was at $49.33.I’ve been a fan of Space Battleship Yamato since it was broadcast in the U.S. as Star Blazers in the late 70’s, early 80’s. I knew Yuki Mori as Nova and they travelled to Iscandar on the Argo. Despite being hacked up by American censors the show still rose above most American cartoons and became a fond memory from my childhood. There were additional Yamato movies that only reached the U.S. years after being produced in Japan but after 1983 the IP was pretty much put on the shelf as far as animation goes until Space Battleship Yamato 2199 was released in 2014. The S.H Figuarts Yuki Mori is listed as being from Space Battleship Yamato 2202 but her uniform is exactly the same as in 2199.My first thought when I took Yuki out of her box was WOW, she is really delicate looking. The figure is absolutely accurate to the character, including the face, but when I held it in my hand I was struck by how thin she was. Maybe this is why the recommended age is 15; because it requires a nearly adult level of maturity to not snap the wrists and ankles. Her articulation is mostly very good. You can get well beyond 90 degrees of bending in the elbows and knees. The shoulders, which are often a problem spot, are handled very well. She can’t lift her legs to the side very high because her hip area is solid but Yuki isn’t exactly a character who goes around throwing kicks. Her ankle articulation is good. She’s got up and down articulation as well as twisting. She does not appear to have ankle rocker articulation but everything else works well.Yuki can assume quite a few poses but with her teensy little feet it is really a challenge to have her stand on her own. All her joints move smoothly and it feels like a high quality figure. If you’re a fan of Space Battleship Yamato I don’t see how you can’t love this figure. Hopefully figuarts is going to be releasing more but looking at the 2018 figuarts schedule all I see is a Rei Yamamoto figure and a second Yuki Mori that doesn’t look that appealing to me as part of their Armor Girls line. With all due respect, with the hyper limited number of Yamato figures how did Ms. Yamamoto make the cut? Where is Susumu Kodai, Daiskue Shima and Captain Okita? I guess they’re starting with the ladies. Let’s hope that this is just the start of a long line of articulated Yamato figures.

This is an excellent figure, put together well no loose joints. The extras that she comes with work well with this figure. I however wish that this came with a stand. Initially I thought I was going to have trouble making her stand, as we seem to have with The Sailor Scouts. All in all this is an excellent buy and hope to see more figures from this line, hoping on a Kodai or Juzo Okita.

Very cool figure and sculpt is well executed along with adequate articulation. Better than I expected without the usual double waist joint honestly.

This figure is so good, I love posing her with my other figures. :D

One of the tiniest figures I have, but also one of the cutest. Very well built and painted.

La figura venía empacada en un sobre de burbujas y por ello se maltrató la caja de la misma. Se recomienda siempre que se pidan figuras que pidas 2 o más productos. Respecto a a figura, esta tiene muy buen detalle, se parece mucho a la FIGMA de Metroid Zero Suit.Lo que no me gustó, es que la figura es muy delgada y quisiera que hubiera más de donde agarrar (jaja). Por lo demás es una preciosa SH Figuarts con un color amarillo muy padre, con un muy buen esculpido del cuerpo que trae un par de rostros y manos intercambiables. Luce como una linda asistente.

Quindi per gli amanti del genera, OTTIMO ARTICOLO, FATTO MOLTO BENE MA ACQUISTATE DA QUALCUN ALTRO!!!!!!!!

Con muchas piezas intercambiables. Bastante bien detallado. Yo lo uso como maniqui de dibujo y referencia de poses.

少々値段は張るが面白い可動フィギュア。14cmのミニサイズだがこれくらいの方が遊び勝手は良いのかもしれない。笑顔や怒った顔など4つのヘッドパーツ、銃を握る手やタブレットを持つ手など7種類のハンドパーツが付いている。コスモガンやタブレットなどの小物も付属。通常の表情の顔や笑顔のヘッドは秀逸に思う。パーツの交換は平易で破損の心配は無さそう。可動フィギュアにしてはスタイリングが良く出来ている。特に後ろ姿などはセクシーさも感じさせる。

こちらの商品を購入して1ヶ月になりました…。(>_<")何を書こうか悩んでおりました～。やっと森雪の可動フィギュアが出た事を知って早速購入させて頂きました。(≧▽≦)フィギュアが届いて早速箱から出して、部品の取り替え作業をしていて気づいた事…、下手をしたら手首のジョイント破損しかねないなぁ…と。特に寒い季節は破損しやすいのでお湯等で暖めてから部品の交換が良いですね。あとは、バイクの模型やプラモ等に付いてくる武器を持たせるのも良いですね。(≧▽≦)
