Kids Outdoor Adventure Microscope – Small Portable Microscope with 20x to 40x Magnification, Perfect for Nature Exploration and STEM Learning

Bought as a Christmas present for my grandchildren which they take out and about on their family walks to look at details on anything they want!

Bought as a gift so it's not been out of the box. Looks like a good size for a child to handle while exploring....can't wait to hear how it goes.

I got this for my daughter when she was 3 or 4 after seeing it at a friend’s place and have since bought another one for a slightly older nephew as it’s so good. Everyone is surprised by how well it works - it is a really powerful microscope and we’ve had loads of fun looking at and learning about everything from the diodes on TV screens to the fibres of clothes to leaves and feathers. It often accompanies us on walks since it’s small and light. The only problem is that the clear round bit on the end falls off easily and can get lost. The microscope still works without it but it’s a little harder to hold in the right place (its function is to touch the surface so that the actual lens is a few millimetres away from the item being looked at and the light shines on the item). But otherwise it’s flawless - the light is important, the focus adjustment easy though rarely needed as it stays focused once set.

This was a gift for a 9 year old bug-mad girl. It’s really durable, works well and is the perfect size. My 6 year old son can also use it comfortable, and it’s really good quality and lots of fun. Overall it looks great and is definitely worth the money - I felt it ended up quite the bargain!

Light toy, easy to carry. Interesting, light switch not obvious so child wont turn it off and it can drain the battery. Good view of stuffs, interesting..

We bought these as a gift for a very young astronomer who wanted (and got) a telescope for Christmas. These have been a lot more use to him and can be used to watch birds too. They are lightweight, sturdy and give a reasonable view for young eyes. They were a good gift for the price and a Christmas gift which is still being used at Easter.
