Liquitex 6308 Professional Slow-Dri Blending Fluid Medium, 237 ml, Mother-Of-Pearl

This is the first time I've used this glaze and I am very happy with results on this acrylic painting I've done for a friend. Easy to use, streak free and really brings out the colours. Yet to see how well it protects from dust and fading but dried project on cheap canvas board feels really smooth and has a nice subtle gloss

Large tub for a great price. Recieved quick, packeged well with a sealed lid. The actual paste is a bright (titanium) white colour, not too thick or thin - a perfect consistency (It's a bit like peanut butter) and matt. I use it on stretched canvases for abstract painting using pallette knives. Very easy to use and spread, dries quite quickly, I would say approximatly half hour to an hour or so and the look at the end is amazing. The paste is great for creating some 3-D effects and giving paintings depth and texture.There is one minor issue that I found. This could be because I use this on canvas: The paste, once dried, cracks quite easily. Solution: I apply a paint sealer and it gives it a fantastic protection film.Overall, amazing product. Would definetly buy again.

I'm a miniature painter and have taken to using Acrylic Medium for thinning my paints as opposed to water. I uae Citadel paint hence strated with their brand of Medium but at around £2 for 12ml.. this would have been ridiculously expensive in the long term. Liquitex have agood reputation to I bought nearly half a litre of their Matt Acrylic Medium for around £15.. the citadel equivalent would have cost me £80!This stuff is a lot thicker and opaque than the Citadel medium. So it can't be used neat. I found I needed to mix at least 1:1 medium:water to get an acceptable consistency. There appears to be no effect on the lightness of the paint & dries clear.In comparison to my previous Medium, this isn't quite as good.. perhaps due to having to use a LOT of water thus reducing the benefit?However, overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase. Used with Flow Aid & Retarder, it makes the basis for quite a powerful mix.

This modeling paste is amazing for any craft and art work. It’s working very well and is so consistently for my art work. Definitely what I need. Highly recommended

I couldn't tell much difference between using the medium or not, but I'm sure there are artist's out there that swear by it.

Never get disappointed by liquitex product. I am an artist and and been using their products and love them all. Quality is great.

I use it as a varnish. Goes on easily with a brusj. Leaves a nice shine. Would buy. Again
