Testing it on arrival in large saucepan. The temperature control works fine, set it to 63.5C and the indicator flipped between 63.4 and 63.6 as the heater switched on and off, separate cooking thermometer showed a stable 64C. Ran quietly and heated up fast.BUT the timer is doing nothing, initially set cooking time to 00:06 minutes just to test but there were no beeps when set temperature was reached nor did the working time indicator move from 00:00. Reread the instructions with difficulty as they are obviously not written by a native English speaker, and could find no advice on kick-starting the timer. Tried shutting down, power off then on, setting cooking time to 1:15 but it made no difference, timer resolutely inactive.It appears to be a solid well made machine but I'm sending it back.

Unable to evaluate the product as it was not working when delivered. It did however look impressive. Returned for a refund which was swiftly provided. Needed a working sous vide circulator for an important dinner party i was giving. For me, reliability of such a device is paramount, perhaps I was just unlucky with this one.

Cheap and cheerful. Not as good as my Anova
