Evolution A4 100gsm Business Paper Ream - White

Bought second had great idea as was absolutely fine

I use this brand already in a lower gsm in larger sizes so I was really happy to buy this one! I use it for my business and it is a tad bit pricey but I think it's worth it for the environment when using a lot and I know my customers appreciate it.Huge shame that it was packaged so poorly in a paper Amazon bag! So it was quite damaged upon arrival that I did lose a couple of sheets.

I like this paper as it is thicker than the thin stuff that one normally gets when one just orders the standard stuff. There is also an element of recycling in there.Louis

I bought this ream of paper for printing a thesis. As such, I wanted a paper that was substantial, slightly textured, and acceptably white, without being too expensive (for all my paper-based snobbery, I was a student at the end of a degree, after all). I looked at quite a few different papers (I'm always curious about them) before opting for this one.When I purchased this paper, having read all of the other reviews, I was a little concerned that it might be a bit too grey and plain for my purposes - I wanted something very presentable, or at least something for which any loss in presentational impact could be off-set easily with the thought (not the statement) that it is 100% recycled paper.To my mind, this paper is perfectly presentable in and of itself and slightly exceeded my expectations. No, it's not dazzling in the way that ultra-white papers from the like of HP are dazzling, and yes, next to those papers (and even some plain budget papers) it comes over as slightly rough and 'grey' ('grey' is far too strong a term, as it is a marginal rather than significant thing; likewise the ultra white ones slightly too 'blue' to my eye when next to a plain white sheet); that said, this paper is a lot cheaper, possibly easier on the eye when reading a large text document, and comes with the slightly self-indulgent feeling that you have done the world a favour by purchasing something made from something else in a way that is supposedly environmentally friendly. As I anticipated, the paper has a slight coarseness of texture, which is pleasant enough if you like that and not particularly noticeable if you don't.So there we are, I can be an eco-snob and a paper-snob, so I'm doubly - or even triply (it didn't break the bank, remember) - happy, and would doubly - or even triply - happily consider doing all of my future printing on this brand of paper.

Care was not taken in the packaging of this product. It is not down to how package/parcel was handled by delivery personnel during transit....since outer wrapping paper was clearly torn prior to throwing ream in the box. Other viewers have always commented on torn paper.It is no big deal really given as actual sheets of paper were okay, but if you pay for a product, you expect it to be properly wrapped. Not much to ask if you want customers to spend money on your products.Item was an emergency buy whilst waiting for delivery of reams bought from Viking Direct.....because needed a lot of work to be printed off urgently.

The paper quality is 5 stars. This is the 2nd delivery, I refused the first one as even the outer packaging was damaged. It arrives in a paper bag and its only because I'm desperate for the paper that I'm keeping it.

I was using this to print some books for my daughter to study with and bought this paper specifically because it was thicker, to guarantee there was no bleed through to the other side of each sheet so that I could print front and back. Unfortunately the ink is showing on the other side (you can see a toilet appearing in the picture), so this isn't doing what it was supposed to. Besides that, the paper packaging arrived completely ripped apart, but that would just be a little detail that I would have happily ignored if this did what it was itended for. The printing quality is actually very good, I'm just annoyed at the bleed through :(

Good print quality and good vfm but wrap for the paper is totally inadequate and was ripped when the Amazon packaging was unwrappedNeeds improvement
