These are great glide baits! There is nothing to it. Toss it out and slowly reel it in. The action is perfect and you can either let it slowly sink or keep it right at the surface. I was able to throw it directly over trees that are very shallow in the water without getting snagged. The bass absolutely nail it. I’ll be making sure I have plenty of these in the boat.

First off, I think this is a good product. Everything is as advertised - the size and weight are mostly right, it looks like the picture, it swims, and is right on the money. When it says slow sinking, it means it's very slow sinking. It's also not a choppy glide bait. You have to work this thing extremely slowly for it to run true. I live in a warm region, so I think it's best to use it unmodified in the middle of summer. Modified, it works with heavily weighted hooks to get it deeper, but you still have to work it slowly to impart the right action. It will roll very easily if you work it too fast. It's cheap enough, but I wish I had originally purchased the 2 pack - 1 unmodified for summer, 1 modified for other seasons/general testing/backup, and the fact it's a little cheaper to buy 2 at a time. Overall, I think it's a good glide bait that fits in a weird ven diagram between the frugal angler, the angler who wants an introduction to glidebaits, and the more experienced angler who can find best use case. There are better products, and similar/better values for more money, but this product has its place.

Great action and one of the best values for the money of any glide bait! Looks incredible and catches fish! This is my preferred size for a glide bait. I was pretty upset when I finally lost it, but will order one again soon!

Great introductory glide bait with nice action. This was my first ever glide bait so I didn't want to break the bank. I thought it was a bit ambitious fishing a 7in lure in CT in April, but caught my first bass within an hour of use. She hit it like a freight train! Cannot wait to catch more!

These baits work, however you will need a rod that can handle the weight of them. Warning, your shoulders will take a workout if you through these heavy baits all day. Even after a couple of hours, you may feel fatigue in your back and shoulders. The number of bass caught with these lures doesn't compare with the plastics, crank and jerkbaits. Also these baits are very loud and sink pretty fast when they hit the water. They are not needless, so fishing in grass areas, even two feet below the bait can be aggravating. You have to work these baits at a certian speed for the best action. I found that my 6 speed casting reels work better. I would inadvertently be retrieving the lure in to fast with my 7 speed reels. These big baits are supposed to catch monster bass. I live in the northeast and I've caught many 4-7lb bass with a 3/8 oz swim jig. These big glide baits are a niche technique that requires time and patience. For the weekend anglers, this may not be a best way to spend your 1 day off in a month for fishing. I've not caught anything over 3lbs with these baits so far, nor a high number of fish in an outing compared to using other less punishing techniques on your physical body. With all that said, don't be afraid to give them a chance, where and how you fish may very well produce different results. Happy fishing....

Not too small - not too big. It's like the goldilocks zone of glide baits. Good look and good action.
