INXS' Magnum Opus
INXS' previous record, 'Kick' is their biggest and, to many, their best. But, as great as that album is, I find 'X' has even *better* tracks.'Disappear', 'Bitter Tears' and 'Suicide Blonde' are all great rockers that are fast-paced, building and building. They're the prime INXS, at their commercial zenith (the early 90s). 'Suicide Blonde' especially is my personal favourite of theirs, and no wonder.'The Stairs' is a beautiful song that, whilst slower, is quintessentially INXS and crescendoes as you'd want with any INXS song. 'By My Side' is another beautiful number; two pure testaments to the band's softer side.'Hear That Sound' is also a favourite of mine - a deep cut but a great one to be sure. 'Faith In Each Other' is decent and 'Who Pays The Price?' is a positively breathtaking piece. The harmonica on it is wrenching, matched only with the commentary of Hutchence's voice.'Lately' and 'Know The Difference' are also some really good songs and 'On My Way' is decent, too. This entire album is pure gold or silver at the very least. Absolute great rock with a pop or dance twist. Highly recommend for rockers, headbangers, movers and INXS-heads.

INXS - "X"
This is a great band album and maybe the best for many. It was released in 1990 following the album "Kick" (1987) that took the band to the top of the charts. It's a very good pop rock. There is no bad track. The best known tracks are "Suicide Blonde", "Disappear" and "By My Side". This album portrays the band's pinnacle band along with previous and later studio albums and a live one (Live Baby). Very good! Note 8.5.

Tweaking is INXS on this remastered release
My favourite INXS album. Maybe I’m so used to the original mix but this remastered version doesn’t benifit some of the tracks on this album. The singles and hits sound great but songs like “Lately” sounded better on the original release. Still a worthy addition.

classic INXS
If you like INXS you will have bought this long ago... if you have never heard of them ..listen to Suicide Blond very loud & you will then go out & buy this ...Kick was the best thing they did but this comes a close second. RiP ..Michael..such a great loss..at least he left his music behind.

Sound Quality
This CD sounds so much better than the original release. I am a big fan of the remaster and it sounds clear and louder than the copy I had previously.

One of the Best Records.
Great songs on here include the hits Suicide Blonde and Disappear but there are other great tracks on here as well such as Who Pays The Price and By My Side, not as good as Kick but not far off.

Great, great, great!
Oh how I waish I had been at their 1991 tour at Wembley! I have the Live Baby Live dvd and this CD was what they were promoting at the time-their new album.
