Smucker's Goober Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly Stripes - 18 oz Glass Jar

First tasted this in America , thrilled I can obtain. Great for lovers of peanut butter and jam. Taste is smooth and delicious

Peanut butter and jam in a single jar. American and Canadian friends had told me about this, I think they had actually told me about a variety which was peanut butter and gooseberry but I did not find it listed just this, the grape variety and another strawberry jam variety. The peanut butter is smooth, not chunky which I tend to think of as the "real" peanut butter, it is thankfully hasnt got the salty taste of some peanut butters and the jam has no large pieces of fruit in it either, it is a smooth spread also without any bits in it. The consistency of the spread is such that it could be used for cake fillings or pastry fillings as easily as an actual spread for sandwiches, crackers, toast, scones etc. The jam and peanut butter has been piped into the jar next to one another and when spreading it you may get more of one or the other but the aim of the product is to have something convenient, more convenient than the two seperate jars for making the "peanut butter and jelly (jam) sandwich". The jar has a screw top lid which keeps the spread fresh. This is probably a really unhealthy food stuff, probably definitely ranking as junk food and I bet it supplies the lion share of what should be a daily calorific intake. Worth a try and great as a novelty item too but if this a mainstay of your diet maybe you need to consider something healthier.

My son loves PJ sandwiches, cant find this anywhere else in the UK.

Arrived with good packaging but also arrived 8 months out of date and it was a use by date, unable to return the product.

But not much jelly. I really like this. I like the brand and the presentation. However, I had to add my own jam to make up for the lack of jelly. For £3.99 it was worth it.

Le mix du peanut butter et de la gelée est tellement bon, impossible de faire la même chose avec un autre peanut butter et une autre gelée, ça ne fonctionne pas pareil. J'adore!

Love the taste but the jelly is a bit on the sweet side.

Product was very good and showed up early which is always a bonus! It was a little disappointing because the peanut butter and jelly mixed a little during shipping, but I think that should be a bit expected. That doesn’t change the taste. Would buy again. I wish we could buy it in Canada (more specifically, the Maritimes).
