There are some negative reviews about this product, this one won’t be negative.First off it arrived in just a couple of days well packaged and undamaged. It is larger than I expected even though I read the measurements in the add. I was going to decorate the uchiwa when I got it, but I rather like the minimalist look of it. It’s sturdy enough for me to use.I’m happy with my purchase and in spite of bad reviews I made a good choice.

I know all wood can vary but the handle on these are more of a green brown. The picture shows a light brown, bamboo color. Besides that they're sturdy and pretty, also very big! Bc of the color issue I huge it 3 stars bc I wanted to engrave on them. Also they're not a consistent shape and size on the handle.

First shipment never arrived, second arrived very late and when opening the product was super let down.

These came to me in pristine condition, so I thought they work well with my fan-painting activity I was hosting at my college. However, when compared to other types of fans that I had bought, these were more flimsy and more expensive. They do their job well enough, but I would recommend getting ones that are either a bit more expensive or switching to ones that fold.
