Art in Renaissance Italy, 4th edition Paperback – 29 July 2011

This book is worth four times what I paid here. Excellent exhaustive research and sumptuous illustrations. Only one caveat: it aggravated my tennis elbow [it's heavy!]

I really enjoyed reading this.It is well written and costs a fraction of the price that my University's Blackwell's book shop was trying to charge for it.Arrived fairly promptly and in good condition.Definitely recommend for those wanting to learn about Italian Renaissance art.

Great book would recommend.

I was looking for a text that was both comprehensive and comprehendible -- and I found it! As a new Art History student, the reproductions are both lavish and copious, which made the commentary all the more rich and relevant. At 500+ pages, it was a bit of a task to read it cover to cover, but it was worth the time and effort. One of the nice aspects of the book is that it could easily serve an addition to a library or to one's own personal reading list -- it is that versatile and useful.

One of the best reads on Art you'll ever find. A must for anyone interested in the Renaissance.

I am not an Art connoisseur and I do find this book rather heavy- going or me. However I shall keep it as a reference book
