It definitely works - and is a kind of black/blue colour
The colour is definitely different. If you can imagine a blackish blue, then you have t right. I put literally a centimetre in a larger bottle and topped up with warm water. Tie dyed... popped in cling film in microwave for 2 minutes and rinsed - job done and I used it on several different natural materials including silk, cotton and viscose. Great stuff but if tie dying, honestly, don't use much to get a great depth of colour. Test on an old rag.. the test colour will be similar to what you get.

fabulous product. this dye holds really well and so easy to use. would recommend this dye to others (in fact i have on my blog) and would insist it is used for dyeing clothes over any other dye. fab!

You need a lot if you intend to change a colour rather than restore one.
A little does not go a long way when trying to change a colour. I needed to dye a canvas overall navy blue from green and it took eventually 3 bottles to achieve a suitable finish.As the instructions advice try not to crease the clothing when you dye it as these will dye lighter or at least a lighter shade of blue. I used a large curver box in order to ensure that I could mixed the clothing in the solution with ease.This is definitely better than the dye powder as you now for a fact that it is all mixed with the water rather than just a portion of the granules, which has been my experience in the past.
