Came within a couple of days and keeps the plates in place well. So much easier than the spin lock arrangement

Just what I needed. They are easy to slip on and off the bar but keep the weights in place once tightened. My bar is 25cm diameter. Easier to use than spring clips.

Bought a weight set from argos and got these for the barbell to replace the annoying spin locks. Haven't used for any long period of time but they do the job.

I bought these for my York ‘beefy barbell’ (spinlock version) and thank goodness they fit. This was after buying spring collars that annoyingly didn't fit. These also fit a smaller standard spinlock bar I have (which the spring collars did fit). Ergo, these collars fit any standard spinlock bar collar, and they're pretty secure too. I cant speak to how they fit non-spinlock collars, but I imagine theyre fine. Good buy

I brought these because I wanted a quick interchange between weights whilst training. They are so tight I could hardly get them on and took me ages to get off. I ended up taking out The rubber from the inside and now they slide on and off and still clamp down well

I bought two pairs of these. 3 out of 4 fit to an OK standard but one slides off quite easily. I tried to improve the grip by adding tape to the inside but it didn't really work. I then went out and bought 4 more from another recognised brand. Although the products looks absolutely identical in every way the brand ones all fit tighter and work better, better grip and more peace of mind. If I hadn't bought the new ones I probably would have rated these as 3/5. After seeing how good quick release collars can be these now get 1/5.

I hated my clips before took me longer to put on an off then doing a couple sets for me defo worth the price I paid

Easy to use but even though they are the right size for the bar they slip away from the weights. I still use them and they've not come off but quite concerning from a h&s perspective.

I'm using mine for a bit of unconventional use: I'm holding weights on the counterweight bar of a astronomy mount for a telescope. This allowed me to use standard weight plates instead of buying a overpriced weight from the mount manufacturer, and also allowed me to get more precise in the amount of weight (plates come in wider variety of sizes than astronomy designed weights). The clamps work great for my usage, and I'm definitely sharing this with my astronomically inclined friends.

We ordered these for our at home gym. Our barbell has the screw-on clips to hold weights in place which take forever to put on and take off. These make changing weights so much easier and they fit perfectly. We ordered two more sets so we could use them on our dumbbells as well.
