I didn’t know what to expect, but after 2 days a huge crystal had already formed, just the colour my daughter wanted. We couldn’t believe it, it’s beautiful and fascinating. The only issue is that now I have to buy more ;-)

I can't really review this 100% accurately as I messed it up. But overall it's decent, my little sister loved the idea of it growing and even though I really ruined it, It still grew around the top. It may be a little difficult for a child to do on their own especially with the boiling water. So make sure to read the instruction unlike me. I was a little disappointed you only get enough kit for one crystal. The box is a lot smaller than I thought, but never the less my little sister was happy with it and that's all I could of asked for.

I felt I had to write a review, as I went ahead and bought this despite the bad reviews as my 8 year old son really wanted one. I'm not quite sure why the other people who gave it one stars did not manage to grow any crystals as we grew the most beautiful crystal - very much like on the box. Once you have put the lotion together it is important not to disturb it for a while, maybe this is why some people did not manage to grow the crystals but we left ours completely still initially. My son has kept the crystal and has it on display - he now wants another box to do a different colour!

Didn't work followed the instructions but nothing really happened only a couple of crystals on the side of the tub nothing like in the pictures

Bought for my 9 year old nephew who is into fossils, rocks and minerals. Honestly wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The crystal it produced was huge (filled palm of my hand) with many other quartz shaped crystals coming off of it. Much like the picture. Very impressed for the price.

Every child loves a gem / crystal and this is no exception. Brought as a present several times and children have taken their crystal to school as show and tell. The crystals are a bit delicate and easily break if handled, so need to stay in container.

Overall ok. Before starting I read the instructions twice and picked a shelf in a warm room in my house. The picture is of 5 days growth, so I am happy the results for the price. It does say the crystal will grow according to conditions, so I plan to do small experiments around my house under different temperature conditions. I can only say take care when setting up the solution and be patient in the growing period.

Malgré avoir suivi les indications , nous n’avons pas réussi de visualiser les cristaux .

Kids loved it, but the “spikes” on the resulting chrystal was really fine. Even when carefully handling it for the washing, the spikes would break. It is quite beautiful though.
