Perfect item

I purchased this belt for some cargo shorts I purchased. This belt is great, the stretchy material it is made from allows a really good fit around the waist and allows the belt to stretch when you bend over or crouch down. The buckle uses a tension rod to hold the belt in place, stretch the belt to where it it tight and comfortable, then slide the tension rod to hold it in place! To release, simply stretch the belt again and release the tension rod, easy! My only gripe with this belt is that the die used in the manufacture process is paraffin based and smells really strong, I tried a few ways to get rid of the smell, after I removed the buckle, I put it through the washing machine twice, I even put it through the dishwasher, In the end I took it into the garden and sprayed it liberally with Fabreeze on both sides, that did the trick. All in all this is a pretty good belt that is comfortable and definitely worth the money.

Had one of these with a pair of jeans 60+ years ago. Always wanted another one. Only problem - clasp can make a noise if you are sneaking out of the bedroom.

Good value for money

The product is sturdy and robust with obviously good durability. In terms of comfort then it does lack that after a long day if you are sat wearing it. Also the one size fits all is not a good idea as thinner people have a long belt section overlapping.

This belt looks nice and can be adjusted minutely for maximum comfort. It is the ability to just adjust the length to how you are that day ( after a meal one may need to adjust out a bit!!) that I really like. Good value. Some of these webbed belts need cutting a bit shorter, after reducing length, a blow torch melts the edge you have cut, to seal it and that's it!!!! No probs.

So I have bought web belts before and they tend to be solid/firm material. These are stretchy but still feel like web. They probably have a couple of cm give in them, which I actually was surprised by and really like. However I did knock off a star for the buckle, now don't get me wrong, it was totally a personal issue, the buckle is a slide in with a bar that gets pulled back tight on the web. I much prefer the slide in and clamp over which is more common for web belts. But hey, if you don't mind/really like this type of buckle you would give 5 stars.

The Buckle takes a little bit of getting used to, but from then on it's an ideal belt for both work & leisure. One small drawback was the metal end of the belt, which wouldn't go through narrow belt loops - - I took the metal bit off, trimmed the end of the belt, and gave it a good coating of Supaglue - - problem solved. I have just ordered a second one because I'm lazy - - one for the work trousers, one for the leisure trousers, and I just don't fancy using "ordinary" belts any more. Leather belts just DO NOT give the snug fit that adjusts to every movement, and I don't get the sore hips I get from Leather Belts with Belt Accessories. I give it 10 stars **********
