HemCon ChitoGauze XR Pro 30-0049

One of the best items I have never had to use. I bought this after seeing it work well for a leg hit from a 9mm FMJ ricochet. This produced a jagged, non-arterial hit in the left, middle thigh area. A plugged-in off duty EMT packed this in the wound (entry only, no exit) and the bleeding stopped very well prior to complete pack. The wound was then covered with an Israeli bandage (from the white wrapper) and was so good, the arriving paramedics poked, prodded then transported.I would recommend this and plan on keeping in my car, house, and duty trauma kits. Please look into some videos of this and similar items to make an informed choice.
