Not harmful to pet birds - but maybe harmful to fish. Further to previous replies it DOES work. It isn't a fly deterrent so do not expect flies to avoid it: it is a fly killer. The paper inside is infused with a substance that is toxic to flies/wasps/spiders etc. It works only in enclosed spaces and preferably without a draught. I mentioned earlier about fish because I know the toxin in it should be kept away from aquaria.

no i dont think o .when its finished its thrown away and u buy another one ,but i could be wrong
