Bangin.
Used it for the first time today, what a vibe. Anyone on here saying theyโre having trouble arenโt cleaning it right. No soap, just make sure you wipe off any food and keep it oiled and youโre good. If you do burn stuff onto it and need to soap, keep it gentle and properly season it afterward, even twice is good. You gotta know how to use this thing, if you mess it up on round one youโll have a messed up pan, dude. You gotta prep it right. Watch some videos online of how people manage this, itโs a great pan. First go and my eggs are SO good. Nothing stuck, I flipped them well, we are all good. How to season? First wash, soap and water, and dry. Youโll be soap and watering it like once a month maybe, give or take. Do not let this sit in water EVER. Dry it immediately, be sure to really get any soap off of it. Get some oil on there, slowly warm up the pan, and let it do its thing. Once the oil is warm, fully brush the oil all over the cook side of the pan, on all the edges and all. Let the pan keep heating, you want the covered bits to get to a smoke point, then you can let it cool. I let it cool here, wiped it down with a paper towel, and heated it up again, letting it be warm with the fully covered oil side really getting its oil set into it. I then blasted with heat, letting it really get to smoke, and did a quick run under some very hot water, essentially setting the oil in place as a base layer. Wipe down gently with cloth, and youโre ready to cook. For sure add butter or oil when you cook, let the pan heat, then add your butter/oil/fat, let that heat fully, THEN add your items. Once done cooking, let it cool to warm and give it a gentle wipe down and let it be. No water no nothing, itโs done. Great pan, great value, easy to use, easy to season, maintains its film well, and looks great on the stove top with its cool heat resistant wooden handle. Get this pan, use it right, and you will be so stoked to cook every time

Versatile, ergonomic and lightweight! Great pan!
I like cast iron. My go to pans are cast iron but I was looking for something that was lighter weight and would be good for camping (i.e. easy to pack, lightweight). I wanted something made in the USA so I bought the lodge carbon steel pan - it arrived and we all agreed that it was as heavy as our 8โ cast iron and the handle was awkward and would need a handle cover to avoid heat. So, I returned the Lodge and chose this 7.9โ pan. Itโs not made in the USA, but it has performed exceptionally well and we are super happy with this purchase. The light anti rust coating was easily removed with soap, water and a light scrubbing. You can easily remove the handle with an allen wrench (not included) which is handy if you want to season it on the grill. The handle feels good in your hand and never gets hot. After the initial seasoning on the grill we started using it as a daily pan. It seasoned easily and has become a favorite for eggs. Itโs also appreciated over its lighter weight than cast iron. As for camping this has been great, you can remove the handle and store it easily and itโs not as heavy as cast iron. You can remove the handle or wrap it in foil if you use it over the fire (a possible drawback) another possible drawback is keeping track of the the allen wrench (not included)- I will be replacing mine with a long wingnut. It was even small/light enough to take bike camping. Overall, a quality pan, perfect thickness and seasons easily. I may go ahead and get the 10โ too.

Great to switch from Teflon!
We are tossing out all of our Teflon pans and finding good nonstick replacements, and this pan type is great. It does discolor and we thought it had a coating but apparently that is natural. We ordered in two sizes and we use them a lot.

Absolute garbage.
Wow! I bought this pan for my wife for Christmas and we used it ONE TIME and it's already shot. She sauteed ground beef in it and washed it by hand and it is rusting and discolored. I am SO SICK OF EVERYTHING BEING SO EXPENSIVE WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY BEING ABSOLUTE JUNK. I guess I have to stick to our Teflon cancer garbage.

Brilliant frying pan with steep sides to it and natural non-stick capabilities. Not too heavy! Totally non-stick. Cooked a paneer curry in it and then cooked 24 small 6 inch across home made flatbreads in it. It didnโt stick at all and is easy to wash. I just wipe over a bit of oil and hang it on my ceiling airer and al it takes is a quick wipe with a cloth and then it is ready to go again. Oil not even needed for my flatbreads. Best frying pan I ever had! I was delighted! It comes with a spare wooden handle too! Awesome! Doesnโt scratch. Heats up pretty quickly and evenly. Well worth the money.

I'm sick of the scratches on non-sticky pans and have decided to shift to sth more natural. I have cast iron pans - but they are slower to heat up and heavy for everyday use. This 8" steel pan with thin side suits my need in every angle - natural, light, easy to clean up. After rounds of use, I have successfully trained it into a non-sticky steel iron pan. Tricks below - you are welcome! 1. Steel iron pan is much faster to heat up as well as to cool down than non-sticky pans. Adjust your timer and dimmer to make sure things are not over cooked. 2. Before use, I seasoned the pan twice. After every use, I only use warm water to clean it up. NO SOAP. Any remaining oil will over the time will form a layer of protection over the pan towards its non-sticky path. After cleaning, I would always use low heat to dry the pan thoroughly. 3. For the first couple of uses, put a bit more oil. You may down size the amount of oil after the pan becomes non-sticky. 4. Always warm up the pan first, and then warm up the oil, and put in the food at last after the entire pan is well heated. Otherwise, the food will quickly cool down the pan and makes everything sticky and messy. 5. After everything are heated in order, reduce the heat to maintain less smoke and a healthier cooking process. This pan is super for fry - the eggs are so amazing!!

I absolutely love these pans. Have been using for around 2 year after throwing out all my non stick. They're so sturdy and reliable that I went and bout a second one
